I'm just clinging to the hope that he knows we're now at the most attractive we'll ever be under him (Rafa and Premier League), if he doesn't sell now, we lose both of those and bang goes his last chance of getting anywhere near what he wants for us. Pretty sure I thought similar this time last year Rafa is gone if Ashley is still here at the end of the season. I think the two of them both know they see the club as different entities in terms of what it is and what it could be. If Rafa goes, for Ashley to want to carry on his shite of spending minimally to get PL safety, he'd need to spend significantly on the playing staff as the twat brought in as manager will be some clueless cunt. If that happens, relegation will surely happen and no PL and no Rafa would equal a major drop in both value of the club and advertising for his horrid company. I think right now would be the time to sell in terms of maximising profit for the club, but you can never second guess that wanker. Also if we go down next season who would Ashley be able to cash in on to minimise his losses? Last couple of times he was able to sell big names to fund spending for promotion and still minimise losses. Couldn't do the same this time because we've got nobody that would be in demand.

Purely based on Youtube scouting, he seems to have a bit of Ben Arfa about him.
-
Yeah, would hate it if we signed Neymar :| Yep, absolute cunt and everything that's wrong with the game.
-
Or how about pay for those player upgrades with the money we bring in and it won't actually cost new owners anything. Especially if a new owner makes an effort to increase revenues, rather than siphoning it off like the fat cunt does.
-
Not really. He got the whole shebang for 90m which is less than even the stock on hand is worth. He can't lose in this deal. Less than the stock at full retail price aye, but he'll never get that for it. Also with the company continuing to make losses he'll be more than £90m in now.

Was Howe really moaning there because only 4 minutes stoppage time?
-
What the fuck was 8 minutes injury time about like? Just got in from work so didn't see the first half.
-
That's basically the modern day equivalent of Gazza wanting a sunbed for his sister etc tbh. Players are gonna try it on. It's up to the clubs to draw the line where they see fit. Not that big of a deal imho. He's allowed to ask, yes and its up to the club to draw the line, yes. None of that changes the fact the bloke is obviously a complete and utter tosser to be asking for a private plane with what he's on. What? You make it sound like he's risking his health ffs.. What long term health effects does it have vs people who actually work for a living?, what drawbacks? Its a short career, that already guarantees him £40m even if he never plays another game in his life. But aye he needs a plane.

£28m worth of Evans cycles stock is worth about £14m at best like. Still a profit like.

We played a lot better without Shelvey and Schar was a big improvement over the snake. Perez also played better than he has for a bit, needs to be dropped once in a while to keep his hunger up. Not saying Shelvey is shite or we shouldnt start him most of the time. I just think sometimes we need a more dynamic player who'll encourage short passing and movement rather than someone who's always looking for the spectacular pass. I think Ki did that today.
-
Or maybe, they are following his gameplan to a tee but it isn't working. Aye I'm sure his game plan is to not pressure the opposition at all, misplace every pass and constantly lose the fucker you're meant to be marking in defence.
-
Even if he is injured, its like 10 seconds till half time so why bother now?
-
Commentator "Mike Ashley in the crowd, hoping his presence will inspire a turn around in fortune". How fucking out of touch can you be?

Getting absolutely pissed on by Watford at home..

What Bishop wants is for fans to listen to the captain and think "yeah maybe we are just causing too much trouble right now, lets stop being so negative about the situation because the team needs all our support and attention". I mean I agree we should definitely focus on Ashley. But I certainly won't be showing any support for Lascelles, for me he's shown himself to be a twat and only deepens my hatred of almost everything to do with the club at the moment. Not bothered if he's boo'd or not right now, but I certainly won't forget that he sold us out.

I'd be very surprised yes, the Premier League already dwarfs every other Football competition in the world for TV money and even thats been slowed down a bit with the newest packages. Not to mention people do actually support other teams in the Premier league outside of the top few. Those fans aren't going to pay subscription fees only to watch a super league that has no involvement with them. So significant money will still need to be paid for Premier League rights. There's only so much cash you can gauge out of people. I think clubs from some of the other leagues going into a super league will see big improvements in TV money, but for instance Man United? No I don't see there TV money shooting up to a point where it would make the cash they get now look like a pittance, not even close.
-
A pittance compared to what they can make in a closed shop super league. People are vastly underestimating the money these clubs can earn by fucking off. Now, hopefully it’ll all burn to the ground if they do, but there’s very little UEFA can do to stop it if the clubs make the decision purely from a money perspective and not history/sporting perspectives. What's this based on though? The idea that they could earn so much more in a super league as to make the hundreds of millions clubs earn from the Premier and Champions League every year seem like a pittance.

Or he just lets us go down thinking we'll bounce back up yet again, spends zero money in January, sells the few decent players we have left in the summer. Profit again, maybe just maybe that gamble will backfire and we won't get straight back up. The lack of quality in our squad is evident and I wouldn't back this lot to bounce back up, especially if you sell Lascelles, Fernandez, Lejeune, Shelvey etc, the few decent saleable assets we have. Even if we bounced straight back up, it would still have cost £60-£70m in lost revenue. Selling players might cover a lot of that but then that still means the potential profit on those players are lost. He's a gambling cunt so will always willingly take the risk on relegation at the start of the season. But if he thinks we're going down in January he'll act to try to stop it, to keep the gravy train running.

A new owner won't buy us with debt unless the price reflects it. I mean it doesn't even take any real due diligence to see the debt, so nobody is going to be stupid enough to offer anything but what they think the club is worth minus debt. Also whatever he's gaining for Sports Direct now doesn't excuse his total lack of business sense here. Because he's missing out on so much more even from the perspective of someone who just wants to use NUFC to improve his other business. With even the smallest amount of ambition and sensible decision making Newcastle United could be bringing in far more money both for itself and for Sports Direct. Don't employ morons like Kinnear, Wise, Pardew ect and spend at least what the club generates. No relegations (which have cost nearly £200m), more shirt sales, better commercial deals, more TV money. That increases NUFC's revenue, Spors Direct revenue direct from shops, makes the cub a much better advertising vehicle for Sports Direct which will in turn increase Sports Direct revenue further and massively increases the value of his NUFC asset. That's what a really good business man would do. But he's just happy to scrap some money off the top like the small time chancer that he is.
-
There’s plenty of room in those clown’s jeans to trouser a lot more too. As much as he's a disgusting cunt who's stealing from the club, there's no chance we make £100m profit per season like, not even close with the new TV deal. Still won't sell for £300m though I agree there, unless he gets enough shit to persuade him to fuck off.

Even Brighton's own players didn't think it was a corner, all walked away when the ball went out.
-
WTF, they've let Brighton make a sub for Murray, but refused to let Fernandez on until another stoppage..
-
We definitely can't compare Ashley to the Saudi's, because Ashley has limits on his actions. What kind of shit would he be prepared to do if he didn't though?, anyone's guess. He's already happy to enslave children in countries were he can get away with it. Or actively torment tens of thousands of people by deliberately destroying something they love simply because some of them called him fat.
-
It is like, I mean if Ashley could get away with murder he would, only difference between the two is Ashley's a stingy small time scruff.
-
Hopefully they invite the cunt to the embassy..
