Keeper could have done better and STILL not saved it. Fucking hell, do some people think that basically hitting the goal line with the ball is a good height for a keeper to save like?
-
So do the West Brom fans hate him yet? EDIT: Had a quick look on their forum "His style is great"

We haven't heard anything from a reliable source that contradicts what Caulkin said so I'm quite calm about this, it'll happen.

Players on our books better than Luiz in the last 15 years? Shearer, Solano, Robert, Owen, Cabaye (not a big signing at the time but think he was class in his prime), Ben Arfa
-
"Whether Luiz is good enough". He'd be the best player we've had in about 15 years What? He's certainly good enough for us, more than good enough. But is he fuck anything like the best player we'd have had for the last 15 years, what a massive load of shit. Who's been better? Luiz was probably in the top ten best players in the league last season In a dominant side that walked the league aye, he's always been a classy but flawed defender. As a defender he'd be one of the best we've had for years, but the best player overall that we've had in 15 years?, nah I don't agree. I would say Colo at his best is one of the best players we've had in the last 15 years and Luiz is above that. Again, who's been better? IMO him and Coloccini are quite similar, I prefer Coloccini in his prime but I admit that might be bias. Woodgate was probably the best defender I've seen at the club in the last 15 years though . Anyway like I said we aren't talking just defenders, we've had better players on our books over the last 15 years than Luiz. That's not to say I wouldn't be very happy to see him here.

Benitez wanted him in the summer, if Benitez still wants him then I hope we sign him.

Almost nothing would surprise me with them, but this would. They'd have nothing to gain (they wouldn't save money because it wouldn't be their money) and everything to lose (they fuck up transfers and Stavely pulls out of the deal). There would need to be a agreement in principle, but that could happen any moment (doesn't need any time waiting for the Premier League ect) or in fact could already be in place right now.
-
When £300m cash is on the line and they have no future liability for the cost of the transfers you'll see just how quickly these cunts can make deals happen.
-
How is this any different to other times he's put the club up for sale?, is that a serious question?

Arsenal v Newcastle United - 16/12/2017 15:00 (No UK TV)

Could be much worse, could have been Diame, at least Joselu can control a ball and pass. Would rather we'd tried Joselu and Gayle though. -
Do you think other teams at the bottom aren't going to throw money at staying up too? West Ham & Palace have 20m & 30m players in their squad and will be able to outspend us..Swansea and west brom could too I fear the 3 that came up will go straight back down Only three clubs in the league spent close to £40m last January and only one was in the lower part of the league (Palace spent £35m). So I wouldn't assume that West Ham, Palace and Swansea are all going to spend over £40m this time round. January isn't normally the window for big spending.
-
How can he expect it not to be in there? We're going to be in the bottom 3 with only 16 games left by the time any new owner gets a chance to strengthen the squad. We could even be bottom of the league by then 3 or 4 points adrift the way things are going. Then a couple more games could go by before they manage to get the right players. If he hadn't left us in such a state last transfer window we wouldn't have fucked up over half of the season.
-
Didn't he already go on holiday?
-
I hope not, while she'd make for a glamorous owner, I doubt she's got the sort of money it would take to take us up a level in a hurry. Sounds like bollocks anyway. Maybe she will own the club herself (rather than PCP) but then use funds from PCP to invest in the club? Seems like she basically has full reign to invest the $30bn in funds that PCP controls, or thats how it sounds from articles I've read anyway.
-
As long as the sale is agreed in principle then aye there's no reason at all for him to have anything to do with that. Since its the club/Stavely who will have to pay wages ect. Ashley should have no reason at all to get involved, in fact if he does and fucks things up with transfers he could potentially fuck up the sale as Stavely could see that we haven't done enough to stay up and pull out of the deal.
-
Cash flow, the club isn't likely to currently have £30m in the bank. Normally a club would either loan the money until their next source of revenue comes in, or pay in installments like most clubs in this league so that only a fraction of the £30m is needed right away.
-
She might be buying us solely, but she'd have to be using PCP to invest some funds. Because as has been said her personal fortune isn't quite enough to buy the club.
-
He's ok he will get a goal now and then. But championship is his level. As much as I've had a go at Gayle in the past I think in a better side he's good enough. He just isn't the striker that can drag us up despite a lot of the other shite around him.
-
Jesus who said that? Certain aspects of his game are, but other parts of his game are frankly shite. I think he can still be a good player mind but he's missing too much to be in a top 6 side.
-
We've got 6 players in there that are at least good enough for this league IMO but they need to have a few players of a higher standard around them to make a decent team. Unfortunately the majority of the rest aren't of a higher standard, they're worse and not even good enough for the league for the most part.
-
I really don't think it's that bad. 3 players of quality would transform the team IMO. Everyone looks 50% worse at the moment because of form. Obviously we need much better players longer-term, but that's a different issue. Aye just a few key players can transform a team. I think we need at least three of those players, ideally four. That could improve the side so much and the others would improve around them.
-
Aye that's it, seems alone in his opinion like. But it does make sense that it wouldn't have to take a set amount of time no matter the situation.
-
Didn't someone in the media claim it was bollocks that it has to take 4 weeks for the Premier League to do their checks? Can't remember who said it though.
