  1. Looks like pardew knew what he was talking about. Ameobi great effort there
  2. And the rolling around on the floor has begun. Referee obviously losing control of this match.
  3. Actually not. Getting in good positions and working hard but entirely negating the good by consistently giving possession away, producing poor end product, and straying offsides.
  4. Agree a 100%. All sport all over the world is like this now. It has become completely rotten to the core and it is solely about making a small number of people rich, very often at the expense of the very fans who support the clubs.
  5. Perch lucky there, easily could have been a penalty going in there with the studs up.

    Alan Pardew

I have to agree with Mick as well. I think people assume that because we have 17 games left in the league that there is plenty of time to get it right. However, the season is already on the brink. There is a massive slide on right now and Pardew hasn't shown any signs of stopping it. Regardless of who comes in, do we really trust Pardew in a tight situation? What if we needed to pick up 9 points from our final 6 games or something like that. Does anyone really think Pardew is the man to take that task on? Would you trust him in that situation, where the entire financial future of the club hangs in the balance? As mentioned earlier, Ashley has been winging since he bought the club, including during the Championship season; somehow we got lucky to survive that pretty comfortably, although I'd argue that was as much about Hughton as anything else. Imagine the unthinkable happening again...Relegation. Do you really trust Ashley to pull off that magic act one more time? We can't risk that happening by allowing Pardew to continue.
  7. As said, Bradley was sorely missed, as was Donovan. Despite going down 2-1 the US made no in roads to the Jamaica goal and we couldn't even put pressure on them down the stretch. Our entire system needs a re-think, we don't have the players to make it work and Klinsmann is going to be a failure if he can't turn things around quickly.
  8. That was not an easy take there either, excellent skill and technique.
  9. Christ look how many have left already.
  10. Never been impressed with Cudicini when he's played these last few years. Always been suspect and he made numerous mistakes today.

    Copa América

Just started watching this today but this tournament kicks the shit out of the fucking Gold Cup.
  13. We did step it up today. Hopefully with Altidore out Bradley will restore Donovan to striker, where he can actually play. Lichaj also looks really good, left back of the future?
  14. I love Donovan and I've never bought into the hate some people have for him, but surely at least someone else could be allowed to try from a set piece
  15. Bradley only made 2 changes. Dempsey and Donovan out wide again FFS. And Jones will be completely shit again tonight, regardless of the opposition.
  16. Go for it. Where is that from? Also just realized the game against Orlando is in the Citrus Bowl. That is gonna be one damn empty stadium......
