  1. We’re finishing top four, like.
  2. Just how many central midfielders can one team have?
  3. With thanks to @Dave, @Ashand @54 for previous incarnations, it's the return of the Transfer Tracker. I'll do my best to keep it updated, but if it starts getting behind feel free to @ me.

  5. Upper-end Championship club? Basically the whole league, I know. Or back to Scotland?

    Kieran Trippier

Given your take on Super Tripps’ performance yesterday, I’m beginning to question if the “apology” even happened at all. Can someone from The Milburn with eyes that’s not clueless please verify?

    Kieran Trippier

Just can’t stand people making stuff up and arguing things from a place of ignorance, tbh. Especially when it’s about someone like Captain Tripps.

At least give this a scan, then. It was David Edgar with the eye test stuff, which you quote responded to IIRC.

Plenty time to post in here, doesn’t have 10 mins to watch the highlight link I posted. What a liberty. Could’ve saved Hans a solid 30 minutes there.

This is what I meant about thinking we see everything at the game and people claiming their “eye test” always beats data. It’s madness to say that. Heightened emotions and all the rest make it tough to form a full view in the moment. When you watch the video, I think you’ll understand why people are being so defensive about it because it’s just not what happened.

You haven’t watched the game back, have you? ”Literally tried the same corner every time” is just a pure lie, man. What’s the point in that? Even the extended highlights show the variation. If it’s Rawkish of me to pull you on that, then fair enough. But it’s not a fair debate if one side is allowed to just make stuff up to back their position and the other side gets criticised for trying to “control the narrative” by pointing to indisputable evidence to the contrary.

    Loris Karius

FM had him as being our #1 keeper. I’m not sure our new data bloke is up to much. Was reported as a “four month” deal when he signed in early September.
  13. Kamara is a bit of a baller.

    Loris Karius

That him done, then? Seems like his contract was up yesterday and with Dubs coming back, it points to him not being extended.
  15. Bentancur is a massive miss for Spurs.

    Sean Longstaff

Understand that, aye, but as much ground as he covers he’s consistently a yard or two off it when it comes to the press, which does bear out in the numbers. His positioning, speed of thought, and anticipation are far from strengths of his, for me. He’s making fewer tackles than Miggy does, which can’t be right given the respective roles they play.
  17. I think we played it quite a few times last season. (Edit: It’s what we started this season with.) Forest (h) 2-0 Brighton (a) 0-0 Man City (h) 3-3 So think we’ll be sound, even at Arsenal.
  18. Very interested to see how he does, given he seemed to be our second choice after Sven "No Defeats" Botman.
  19. Piss poor round us at the back of the Gallowgate and it’s usually decent, there were only a handful of moments where people seemed to fully engage with what was happening on the pitch.

Opens up a much higher ceiling for commercial revenue, raises the international profile of the club… Aye, fuck that.
