Still so misunderstood. I thought it was funny.

To be fair Murphy seems very 2-footed. Aye Cant tell if Rich is taking the piss or not Obviously been away too long. (Apologies to Ronaldo.)
-
Would be canny cool if we'd just signed a two-footed winger who could cut inside and shoot or go outside and cross.

One thing mentioned in "Rafalution" was Benitez' concern at not having enough unpredictability in attacking areas at times last season. Murphy solves that to some degree, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us looking to go for a wildcard like Carrillo. We need a bit of a mavrick™ with fret™. Hopefully we're still in the market for another winger, although I appreciate there's other areas most would want to focus on first.

Seen a fair bit of Rolan going back a few years, really liked him at the beginning but he's lost his way since being asked to be the main man at Bordeaux after Diabate went. He always seems to be better when played in a two up front rather than leading the line alone, although we could still hold interest because he's a real Swiss army knife forward who can play to a similar standard out wide as well (on either side). Will work hard and make a lot of diagonal runs to join in, has a bit of pace and isn't the worst dribbler. Still, he would be uninspiring based on last season's form, but would plug a gap and effectively take up the Gouffran role. He retains a fair bit of upside, but doubt he'd be considered an automatic starter or serious competition for Gayle immediately.

Amazing scenes. I just found this sudden outburst really funny is all. I'm with you, absolutely bizarre. Had been waiting to bust out a Dowie Spin.

Amazing scenes.

Think it would only be .5 if it was January, most contracts end on June 30th. 5 years would be my assumption.

This chap was money well spent in the end, especially if we recoup more than 50% of the fee. Shame he doesn't seem to be going to a club where I could enjoy him doing well.
-
I would sign him now and loan him back to Norwich if they were interested in that deal. This is a better idea than mine.
-
Give Josh a year as a starter for Norwich and then go and snap him up too, his output in limited minutes last season was even higher than Jacob's.
-
I really didn't like his attitude at times last year, but Hull were an absolute joke until Silva came so could understand him being fucked off and not putting effort in defensively. Head seemed to go down very easily at times, though. However, hard to argue that he'd be any worse than Colback and with his contract up in a ccouple of years and Hull being in the situation they are he'll be a reasonable fee. Handy to have someone who can fill in a few gaps if needed, too.

Played more centrally than he did wide last season, didn't he?

Basically Gamez -10 years, quite shrewd if he's even capable because he can cover either side. Not sure Jesus was ever up to it in the Championship, never mind the Premiership.

Two transfer baths thankfully. I'm going to be so wrinkly.

Two players in a day. Mercy.

Bye.

Elaborate, friend. On mobile so can't really go too crazy, but it comes across that everything Rafa does has significant purpose behind it when it comes to transfers. It takes him and his associates a long time to do background checks and he's excellent at selling the club and his vision for how the team will play. He appeared to understand exactly where we were weakest last season and pretty much remedied things, bar the second winger he didn't get (Knockaert). I doubt we'll get everything he wants again this time around but if he even gets close we'll be alright. Also pins the blame for Sels on Carr, which I'll accept as gospel all day long.

After reading Mark Douglas' book on Rafa I'm suddenly a fair bit more relaxed about this summer. He'll see us right. Would highly recommend it.

Lazio agreed a fee of £5m for Lucas Leiva. I'd have a dabble at that price, he was excellent at times last year (albeit in a pretty good team with lots of legs around him).
-
Agree with that last paragraph. Bookmakers are utter scum

I think it's the same for everything under that umbrella, isn't it? A lot of local media online sites are horrendous and many are identical to the Chronicle.
