Can't believe we won another game where he picked Jonas and Perch like. I was assured we stood no chance in both from many people - some who are old enough to know far, far better. Even if he does pick the same team and the expected torrent of abuse comes his way, we've got to at least hope that having Marveaux and Obertan added to the bench can be something of a difference-maker if required. Along with Yanga-Mbiwa, Anita and Shola those two would give us the best pool of options we've had for ages and it may mean that some of Pardew's decisions aren't so baffling. I'm as excited for this as I have been for a match all season. Not sure there's a better time to play Chelsea and we'll undoubtedly be on a high after clinging on at Villa. Think it's going to be tasty. We have to be looking for the win though, although I'd be sated enough with a positive-looking draw.

We updated the Tapatalk plugin last week, maybe something to do with that? Anyone else getting similar? I've tested it on my PC/Mac just there and it's same as always. Also fine on iPhone Safari and Tapatalk itself.

Any sort of decent striker would have made it a "10" for me as Shola is still far too close to the starting XI, but it's massively outstripped my expectations overall. Sissoko and Yanga-Mbiwa are up there with Cabaye and Ben Arfa as two players we had no right to be getting for the money we did.
