We're past the point of no return now.

Had a godawful week last time but keeping the same team so I can do a double switch next time around, thinking Lukaku and Ozil in for Rooney and Michu as it stands.
-
Martin Hardy bang on the money again.
-
That's quite a range.

We videoed one of our 5-a-side game and it was honestly tragic to watch so fucking slow and ungainly, never did it again. So in conclusion, videoing it would be a brilliant idea The tempo in these gets a bit Father Ted by the second half too, like.

Mick took some in the first game: http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,58187.1775.html Think there may be more from the later ones.

It really is very good fun like, especially as the vast, vast majority don't take it too seriously.

End football for that. Dear god, biased much? My irony meter has just overloaded.

Another link from same website... http://tyneandwear.sky.com/sunderland/video/85577/do-sunderland-fans-really-hate-newcastle-united Liked the bloke at the end, seemed like classic old man.

Aye, Martin Hardy loves a Coloccini story. He's been wrong enough in the past so here's hoping.

It's difficult to pick up there but you could clearly hear Draper telling the assistant referee that he had taken it and there was no protest at all, he then tells Doran who pauses a while before carrying it towards the box. The assistant didn't flag immediately after the second touch either like, waited until the goal was scored and Inverness were celebrating before signalling the referee. He'd even started jogging back to halfway...

Hypothetically, in what circumstances would you not want to? It's such a small area. Check this out, thought it was f***ing genius myself and then the c*** linesman flags to get it ruled out after letting play carry on a good ten seconds. Doesn't need to leave the quadrant btw, becomes active as soon as touched after the whistle. Was interested to see if anyone else knew the rule as I wasn't sure initially. Isn't there something in all free kicks etc where the ball has to travel the whole ball's diameter before it's 'in play' ?? FIFA's current laws of the game simply state "the ball is in play when it is kicked and moves", but it did used to be as you suggest.

When taking a corner do you need to knock it out of the quadrant?
-
Just ordered it from there literally a minute ago

Think I'm going to have to get that book.

Only if you discount the games Allen, Neilson & Pav played. Or Mathie, Papavasiliou, Gilespie etc too Gillespie of course, just checked and Nielson was indeed Welsh. Great shout there. Loved those years like as I'd just started going.
-
Srnicek, Albert, Hottiger, Mathie, Papavasilou were all there during this time. Was Nielsen non-English too?

This is a disgraceful comment.
