Would be delighted if that's the case, as while I see the need for Elliot to be bedded in I do think we're at the stage here where we need to leave as little to chance as possible and Krul's form is worth preserving by keeping him heavily involved. Good pre-Stoke warmup for him too given Blackburn's reliance on the long-throw/long free-kicks, etc.

Not as much context as usual as there's no shots of them set-up in a full-size practice match, but they appear to form a pretty logical team as far as I can see, so I'm sticking with it given the sparsity of information elsewhere. I personally think we'll see Elliot and Lovenkrands in the two remaining positions, given Ba's purported fragility/Best's recent involvement and the need for Elliot to get some more game time. I'd be disappointed to see Lovenkrands given the nod again, but it's a definite possibility when you consider his goals from the last round and a few other factors. I'd prefer to see Best up there myself as he's lost his edge a little bit recently and could do with a goal to get him back firing. If it is something like this then I think it's a nice enough balance between our strongest XI and players who are pushing for a start and recently haven't been getting time. Wouldn't be too unhappy with it overall.

That very brief downtime there was just a restart of the server. Had further tweaked some settings as we had over two weeks and two games worth of data to use as a guideline.

Looking into this at the minute, thanks for the constant updates chaps and especially for the screenshot James. I've altered something so if it happens again can you let me know and then I'll move onto the next step. It's a harmless bug really, but ideally one we could eliminate altogether if possible.

Delete the Newcastle-Online cookie from your hard drive is all I could suggest here. It's actually called "Newcastle-Online" so shouldn't be too hard to find. Working fine for me on all devices I've tried.

Right that's it until after the next game, everything is sorted so hopefully the forum will continue be pretty slick. It's a bugger because you need to restart the server every time you tweak something to see the effect it has had, hence the mini periods of connectivity errors you will have seen. Not to mention that all of the Admin team barring Dave have been somewhat in-and-out during various times on here, myself included on a number of occasions, it's just the way it goes when other things take precedence in real life. Like having a bairn, for instance. The same happens with plenty of regular members, too. Baron von Fat was still an Admin until a couple of weeks ago, that's who you should be reserving this petty ire for really. I mean seriously, when was the last time we saw the Baron stroll into a volatile thread and defuse the situation with a masterful "Hay guys, what's going on in this thread?"
