Some people. I've got no money and I'm going to be working full-time all summer either back home or in Hull, most definitely won't be going away anywhere, yet I haven't adopted such a bitter viewpoint In fairness, most on the video have done alright. Emre is the only one I'd have any objection to, but he's not going anywhere.

Someone said he's the second highest earner at the club on £80,000 per week, if Smith is on £60,000 pw then that would be a boost for the wage structure getting these two off the books. You would have thought Gomis and Diana would be on less combined than Viduka is on. Think it was me that said that, actually. It's not far off the money anyway. He's definitely the second-highest paid player. Who the fuck would buy him, though?
-
I'll be amazed if Emre's still here after EURO 2008. Well, actually, like you say - if he gets crocked yet again we might struggle to shift him.
-
He'll get pissed up, spend loads of wedge and quite probably have a brilliant weekend, you cynical bugger

http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/sub/TVNews/0,,10278~1312316,00.html Think you need to be signed up to Newcastle World like, but it's a canny little watch seeing Keegan, Terry Mac, Harper, Edgar, Emre, Butt, Beye, Owen, Taylor and Milner talking about their plans for the summer. Terry Mac and Keegan are going to New York together for 4 days with their wives, according to Terry it's with the money they've won from being champions of "head tennis", taking it from Taylor/Beye and Butt/Owen. What a joker. For those that can't watch it: Keegan's going to California aside from that, Harper is planning a few holidays with family, Edgar's going to Vegas for his 21st, Emre doesn't have any plans apart from EURO 2008 and coming back to Newcastle for pre-season (really?), Nicky Butt is his usual miserable self and says he'll just take a break from football, Beye's going to Paris all summer as his family is there and his wife is expecting a baby in June (funny bit in his interview with Given, "Shay Given, he's a crazy guy!"), Owen's playing for England then going to Portugal with family, Taylor and Milner just say they'll be having a rest.

I'd worry about being able to shift him without the injury, personally. Like the bloke as a player, but agree with your sentiment and I wouldn't mind seeing him shot of. You can't pay a squad player the money he'll be on, which is hopefully all he'll be next term.
-
Nobody will sign Viduka this summer, surely? He might not even be fit before the transfer window is closed.
-
He's certainly got a bit of magic about him, but I could only really see him in the current "Owen role", as it were.

I'm from a Catholic family who all seem to prefer Celtic (I do as well, most of the time), but I still want Rangers to win. Their travelling support is a marvel and they seemed far less arsey than the Celtic fans when they came down here for that friendly a few years back.
-
Especially for a relegated team.

Seems a good pro, Shorey, certainly wouldn't mind us getting him. Does seem a very "Southern" sort of bloke though (not meant offensively, for once), so dunno if he'd fancy a move up here if there were other options in London open to him. People will worry about Jose, but the fact is that we need a left-back, and it makes sense to sign the best one we can possibly get (the best in the opinion of the scouts/Keegan, not us lot, I mean.)
-
No surprise there, but he won't have been on much to begin with.
-
Exactly. You'd think 6'2" was some super ginormous size based on Ronny's post.
-
Might be a fall-back option if the more high-profile deals don't come off? 25 years old, from abroad, seems to fit the bill.
-
Direct quotes from the player though, which is more than we've had from anyone else so far. He says the clubs have had contact.
-
Faye is nowhere near 6'2" in fairness Really?
-
Habib Beye winning by a landslide!
-
Who the fuck would fight with Abdoulaye Faye?
-
Speaks good English, gave an interview of MOTD after he scored past Birmingham. If Owen goes, I couldn't think of anyone more deserving of the armband. His English is good, he's been on Newcastle World TV loads this season.
-
Good old Nicko.
-
Only saw 2 reserve games since he joined, but he looked very good in both. Lovely hair.
-
Yeah, 'cos that wasn't posted this morning on page 6 or anything...
-
He's an irritating twat who for some reason thinks his purpose here (his admittance) is to try and wind me up, but he just comes across as a total fuking cunt and i cannot be arsed with the prick in any way shape or form. Oh dear.

Come on fellas. Peas and love and all that jazz.
