We need to strengthen the right back position. Are there any good right backs that we could get? I'd like to see us get a player that can play both right back and centre back. Heitinga? Ben Haim ;-)? What do you think?

If we sell Solano and Dyer Id like to see us make a move for Quaresma and Heitinga. Fantastic improvement to the squad, and really easy to push through... ;-)

Swedish goalkeeper Rami Shaaban would be perfect. He has PL and CL experience from his time at Arsenal and is a swedish internatioinal (back up for Isaksson). He now plays for norweigian side Fredrikstad where he is doing very well. Good short term solution imo.

From Skysports.com. They say that Viana has been sold by us this year? If I look on other places, for instance nufc.com . They claim that he was sold in march 2006. "OUTS: Antoine Sibierski (Wigan), Titus Bramble (Wigan), Scott Parker (West Ham), Hugo Viana (Valencia) " Can anyone explain this?

Swedish midfielder Klas Ingesson hit an elk with his car and got some sort of whip lash injury to his neck.

Heitinga? , right back and central defender is also a good mix.

What happens to the players making way? Sell, keep, loanspell ? Get rid Ramage Babayaro Pattison Loan out Huntington Edgar Caroll Keep Carr Sam seems to want to get him going again

I like the fact that we are looking at players that can play in several positions. Leftback/centre back is a good combo.

Sell him if we can. Hes class but he will always be injured. If there is a club stupid enough to pay up to us and to him, we surely should sell him. Viduka, MArtins, Smith, Ameobi is a great strikeforce.

I dont want a player that gives up CL-football with a spanish top team for money. Especially when hes over 30 years old. I dont get good vibes from this news and it certainly doesnt fell lika a Big Sam signing. Remember what he said about Alan Smith. "He wants to leave Man U because he wants to play football, not to earn money - thats the reason I wanted him" I say no tyo the drag show..

Spanish players usually loves to play for NUFC ...

Translation: Enrique came from Valencia last year on the cheap without any demands on him. Soon he had taken a regular place in the line up and he was one of the best players last season. This wasnt enough for Llaneza who brought in the spanish international Joan Capdevila. Enrique was set for a place on the bench (unexplainable) but that is not going to happen now. Newcastle has made one of their best buys ever in the young Enrique, he will be their regular left back if he can cope with the EPL tempo, the good fridge. No doubt about it, I believe Enrique will be a regular spanish international in a few years. Everything feels so heavy. Enrique was one of my personal favourites and the U21 international is being sold without thought. We cant change our team every season. Fuck off Llaneza, fuck off. What we get for Enrique and how long his contract is is still not known but it doesnt really matter right now. In situations like this you just want to cry.

Selling a player who is 32 in November for £2-3m. Wouldn't call that a bad piece of bussiness and they'll probably replace him with someone better. I agree with that but he has been good for them and they have defensive problems with injuries at the moment.

Its strange to me that Sevilla is still such a selling club. They are winning trophies and can offer CL-football. If they are selling Drago and Alves, maybe we can go for Christian Poulsen. Would be the perfect defensive midfielder for us.

Did he mention anything about how he feels owen and martins fits in to his preferred 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 system?

Appiah and Deco would be very interesting.

Cant see any of them coming. Riise is by far the best choice though.
