SA will get a fair chance to prove he is the right man for the job. He will probably get moore funds than he thought he would and that must be great news to him. Lets hope he makes the right decissions and makes us a top club again. If he doesent make us better he surely has to go though.

This is a very interesting player in many ways. I think he has a lot of character, and that is definately something we need! Pay up and get him in!

Good point, chances arent that good to be honest ;-) ! Still, he is an amazing footballer and he would be excellent in the premiership. I think that he could be attracted to playing in the EPL, I think next season will be amazing in England with so many clubs bolstering their squads this summer. The EPL will be the place to be! Still - If he shows any interest in moving here I think the top 4 clubs would like to join in for the bidding... Worth a try eeh?

Barton is just another overrated and overpriced british player. He is not the player to take us forward. Still - we need a defensive midfielder. Go for Christian Poulsen from Sevilla, he is definately one of the best around and would be the perfect groundstone for our midfiled.

not perfect for the premierleague not the perfect partner for martins/owen doesn't score nearly enough goals and not really that hard a worker tbh (not that he is outright lazy or anything..... but no gattuso either) Have you actually seen him play? yes - many times - have you? if you have my guess is that you are swedish ;-) tbh i think he is a decent player, but i also think that he takes far too much time on the ball to make him a success in the epl Yes. I am swedish. ;-) I used to say that Elmander is the talented player that never achieves his full potential. But when he came to FC Copenhagen playing under Michael Laudrup something changed. He matured and became a cracking player. His season in France has been amazing and i beleive his powerful style ande tha way he runs could be perfect in the premiership. I also beleive that all the running he puts in for every game could make a lot of room for his partner upfront, Owen or Martins.

Go for Johan Elmander in Tolouse. He has had a fantastic season, is an extremely hard worker and would be perfect in the premiership. Yesterday he was named in the french ligues team of the season. He will probably cost around 8-10 mil but would be a perfect partner for Martins or Owen.

Houllier is exactly what we need. Give the man the job, give the man a transferkitty and he will make us a hell of a team!

Gerrard houllier is the perfect option for us and I do think we can attract him. He knows the premiership and he is a football brain. He can also modernize Newcastle and he has great contacts and would definately attract players to come here. Other names I would consider Van Gaal T.Schaaf (Done wonders with Werder Bremen) M. Laudrup (Would make us play attractive football) Scolari Big Sam will be a new Souness!!!!!!

As many of you already has said, defenders are the absolute priority. If we can find any extra funds after sorting this area out we can go for an other striker. We need one CB and one left back. I'd love to see Woody but Im pretty shure he will get injured asap after we sign him. Go for someone younger. Curtis or Anton. Baines for leftback would be great.

The more I read about Roeders policy in the transfermarket the more convinced I get, he is right! We should know that its not easy. Money isnt the answer if you want to succeed in the transfermarket, scouting is key. Today Roeder says that his rolemodel as a coach and in the transfermarket is Arsene Wenger, that makes me really hopefull. Look at all our expensive flops like Luque, Boumsong, Viana, Marcelino... Compare this to Wengers bargains,, Vieira, Henry, Anelka, Ljungberg, Toure, Eboue.. Let Roeder do things his way and we will be fantastic in 3 years time. /B
