    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Looking at a 20 yr old portuguese rcb at the moment, but has a release clause of 85M.... Would rather have Mbuemo over elanga and MGW tbf. Seems the finished article and can cover at striker also
  3. If he brings palmer and gordon on after 60 mins I would just about begrudge him this....

Are we actually about to sell last season's best player? Even if a top rated goally comes the other way it would be ridiculous. Most sites quotung that we offered him to them... FFS!!

Jesus h christ almighty! What a bunch of cnuts we have on here! Can everyone please chill out and have faith. The FCB is no lomger at the helm! We have serious people running our club ffs!
  9. Good third place back up for me, both on wing and at right back
  10. This is what I think i.e. Club is growing and he is getting left behind
  11. Footballer who thinks he is a dandy, rather have a dandy baller... Not for me. If he was Ronaldo-esque maybees...

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Tomori at 50 million euros is a good deal. He was the best player against us at Milan. Bowen for 60 million quid is a bit steep for me i think.
  13. Yep, 30 million or thereabout is a pretty good deal
  14. Spain looked really high quality and full of confidence yesterday. Wasn´t really a position where you could say they were weak, maybe Morata up front but he puts them away for Spain...
  15. I think Tripps is defending well, but he (southgate tbf) is actually to blame for the lack of attacking intent down the left; When a right sided defender plays on the left he controls the ball mostly with his right foot which means his body position is more likely to be facing towards his own goal/own half of the pitch and hence the passes are more than likely backwards or sidewards instead of forward. Also the overlaps with the wingers are voided when he has to double back on to his right foot to put crosses in... Isn´t Tripps´fault but it means we are pretty rank attacking down the left!!
  16. Guehi was our best player closely followed by saka and walker. The rest were all 5 or 6 out of tens. The team doesn't have any structure, it is painful watching them try to pass it out from the back when we have a keeper who cannot kick better than a five year old. So so bad. Southgate is absolutely clueless, although he did finally realise trent is not a midfielder. What a difference when someone comes on and knows where to run and recieve and pressure etc... OUCH
  17. TAA looks like a rabbit in the headlights. Scared stiff, no movement, no running... mind could say that about another 5 or six players
  18. Poor show by Southgate. TAA should not be in the middle. Bellingham dropping back next to Rice and Gordon on wing would give us another dimension... Too fucking boring and cautious to change anything.
  19. Bellingham in middle with Rice (TAA out), foden at 10 and gordon on the wing. Rest the same as before
  20. Didn't like trent in midfield, seems a bit lost. Didn't like harry Kane when out of possession, both wingers and jude were zipping around trying to pressure and kane was always walking, really annoying. On the ball was fine... Defence really unsure trying to pass the ball out. In general we look scarednto play fast zipping passes, everything had to be super secure and we seemed predictable. 6/10 performance for me
  21. There was a decent article in the times this morning about City´s case against preferred party sponsers, and also Villa thinking about sueing them also. I thought Samuel´s final take on how to solve it was quite decent: There could be a compromise in arbitration this week. Win some, lose some. Yet it remains strange that everyone thinks the alternative to protectionism is a free-for-all. It’s not. It’s a spending cap. Not linked to income, not anchored to the worst club in the league. One figure for all. And no loans. If the number is £400million on wages and transfer fees, then 20 clubs can spend it, but the owner can’t loan it. If the club only generate £100million, a further £300million can be added, but only as a gift. An owner can’t ask for it back if he leaves. Straightforward. Easily regulated. You’ve either generated the money, or you’ve been given the money, but when you’ve spent that money, if you choose to spend the money, you’re done. And if Guardiola is your manager you’ll quite possibly win the league; and if he isn’t, you probably won’t. But, either way, the sky won’t fall in.
  22. I wish we knew a bit more about how much we can spend, all of the conjecture on here is based upon us having miserly sums for outlay... Even a couple of solid bids for wilson, miggy and longstaff would help us create a better picture of what we might be capable of buying.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Yep, Barca badly need to sell (a decent few) to keep within financial allowances, bit similar to what is going on over here...
  24. I think a pre-season with eddie would let him know exactly what is expected. If he is up to it, then we have a new and dangerous winger on our hands, hard worker and fast presser a la Gordon!!! Would save us a wedge on buying somebody, fingers crossed he is up to it.
