Sorry, tin hat on... Hall always suffers against any winger with real pace, he was targeted because this is his main/only fault. As long as they have a few yards to poke the ball past him he is beaten for pace every time. His confidence get's eroded when this happens and he starts to back off and give them a couole of yards which leads to crosses in... Normally he has good protection from Joe and Gordon but saturday was not up to standard! Strange tactics or just pure fatigue?

Agree, we never had to get out of second gear, our front line is awesome and tonali behind them purrs like a rolls royce. BUT... we need to cut out the mistakes: Bruno has to stop trying to dribble when pressured close to our area, playing botman on the right restricts his pace of passing, great defending though. Tino needs to up his game when high balls come at him, he let them bounce a few times and got the ball taken off him (1st rule!).

Was quite impressed by elanga last night, took on the defender every time and won quite a few, also defended well until he ran completely out of steam near the end. still think we should aim higher than him. The player who really caught my eye was in the chelsea bournemouth game, the young Spanish defender Dean huijsen was really magic and has great passing ability. sure we were looking at him at some point. Would be a great buy to bring in and replace schar in a year´s time? Price might be a bit high now though
