The game was pretty equal and a draw would have probably been the fair result, but this is football so enjoy the good times as bad ones will come (and nourish the forum). We had a really dominant 25 mins, they got the goal and sucker punched us, left us groggy until the second half. We came out lively and the whole second half was very even again with both sides having small runs of dominance. The really confusing thing for me is our pressing or lack of it or lack of synchronisation??? What has happened to us? We seem really lethargic and disjointed with teams passing through us at ease. Somebody enlighten me why?

Fulham will tell us if Eddie is giving out loyalty cards to his favourites or if he goes with a team that can win... Was quite frustrating viewing that right hand side today, all of Sean, murph and Livra were very poor in possession. They did defend well except for Livra´s half arsed jog back when he should have bust a gut to get back and on his marker instead of letting him stroke an easy goal home. Also need to have Gordon and Barnes on from 1st min. I think Tripps deserves to be on from the start, we look a lot calmer with him on. P.S. Why didn´t any of our back line win headers today? can hardly remember any long balls being contested well

I thought BDB was poor again today. Would like to see kelly in for dan at some point. Our defence is quite pedestrian at the moment. Tino was also pretty bad on the ball and was just jogging back for the first goal

Wolves have looked ordinary so far, we should dispatch this lot at ease...IF WE PLAY AT THE LEVEL WE ARE CAPABLE OF!!

I went o a basketball game in Miami not long ago and the cheapest seats I could get were about that 60-70$ range. Can see tickets increasing a lot in the near future... A season ticket for 700-1000 seems really cheap in todays market (35-50 quid a home game)

Urgh! Jet lagged and without training until friday I suppose. Was big Joe away aswell?

It seems clear to all the pundits that we need width and pace on the left and a left footed left back to complement the winger, it is now Gordon´s to lose but who will get in as left back? Also, the Foden and Bellingham conundrum; who do they displace when they come back? bellingham as a partner for rice as a double pivot? foden for grealish or bellingham for grealish? These are the bid picks Carsley will have to remedy. I would rather bellingham next to Rice in more of an eight or double pivot role, each knowing when to hold or when to push up. Foden would come on for grealish as a Nº10 as I liked how grealish played and switched with the wingers well...

We need to pick up our rythym and quick! Hopefully with the international games the players will have gained some more match sharpness. Wolves look really average so far and we should be looking for three points from this game. Would love to see Tonali on from the start and then bring on Sean when we are a couple of goals to the better, likewise with other benched lads. Will Calum be ready for this one?

Most of our players on international duty should be back on wednesday, given that the game is on sunday they will all be training Thurs/Fri/Sat??? Should be enough time for the first team to pick itself...

But I won't judge a book by it's cover, not until a couple of chapters have been taken in!

The first time I heard him talk I also heard some distant alarm ring in my head... he kind of reminded me of "The King" and some of the snake charm patter he had. He is not that eloquent and conjures up an image of a smooth car sales rep who was quick/clever but never had any type of education.

I would love to see the following line up: -------------pope------- Livra---Schar---Botman---Hall --------Sandro---Joe---- ‐‐‐-----------Bruno------ Gordon----Isak----Barnes 4231

The low press and tight midfield/defensive line we are playing takes the sting out of most teams and they can only put it in from out wide... I also like the quick counter with the pace we have up top. Although, I think it makes us too one-dimensional and top teams will surely grind the low block down with their technical quality? Hoping we start to play it about more with schar back and Tonali starting...

Loving his first touch passes! Speeds everything up and caught spurs out a couple of times by breaking their midfield/attacking press overload
-
With regards to Kelly; he has one negative trait (sorry, I know) which caught my eye yesterday, he backs off too much and leaves space in front of him. Yes, he tries to shepard them outside of him and stays on his feet but... Hmmm! His pace and tackling counters this, but he often lets the attacker get into dangerous areas and that was where a few of their chances came from. Needs to be more aggressive/proactive
-
He's been one of your worse "megastar" signings, legs completely gone a while back. Has the occasional game where he looks decent but it is one in four...

My take is that Spurs were toothless up front and it cost them the game. We are pressing with only the three forward players and when that fails we move into a low block which allows teams to dominate in our half. We look good on the transition and counter attack but apart from that we seem unable to string more than three or four passes together. Krafth, Burn and kelly really limit our ability to play the ball out from the back. Pope looks especially nervous so far and his kicks out are poor. Tonali needs to start and schar back will perhaps allow us to pass the ball about better. How long till Botman is back? Our LCB slot is pisshh atm.

Hope Yasir tears two new A-Holes for mitchell and eales afyer our recent fiasco

Has been decent to be fair. Both joe and bruno have been quiet/out of sorts

Although it is scary to think about, this could well be a scenario we face in January if we are not doing well... Professional (elite) footballers tend to be ruthless both on and off the field.

ELANGA to the rescue!!!

Fits the Eddie "makes a top class player from a decent one" development scenario
