The reality is this: Fat boy has just arrived back from his hols in Blabberados He has more pressing concerns a little further north of the border Any Fuc*wit interested in the job will need to be interviewed, contract negotiated, brainwashed into sycophantic mindset...etc...etc We are due to wait a week or two until a decision (Carver= cheap/already brainwashed) is made... P.S. for what it's worth Remi Garde seems our best option, knows the cheap frenchy market well, will get on well with the team. Has worked on relative shoestring previously.

Poetry, what a philosophy... When we lost that league back then, it didn't hurt so much (it did, but in retrospect), the fact we were playing the best football the league had seen and everyone else appreciated us was so rewarding in itself.

The Star claims Manu and Arsenal lining up offers... My only spark is about to be doused forever... Full depth of discontent and final divorce proceeding will be reached if this happens, the once all consuming love of my life will be turned into an object of hate should this crime ever happen!!!

Imagine getting scouted by an Alien, and then accepting their offer to go to their alien experiment club, where normal sporting ambition and fair play have been replaced with a fat controller doing his best to keep the plebbe repressed and depressed... And still be so ship hot!!

Demonstrating to the Fat Cnbut that he's the man for the job... no other possible explanation, specially after his quotes the other day... I get it! He's a carbon copy of Pardle.... aaarrrggghh!

P.S. Perez on right instead of Up front, although would prefer him up front

I think the only real dissapointement for me would be Carver hanging on to the job, as we know it will be more of the same...
-
what's the point of Beardsley or Carver... will be the same pile of steaming horseship we have had to put up with previously... Would like to see a whole new tactical revision of staff and some new ideas and something bordering on a positive approach to how we play. Any manager will do as long as they have a proactive approach. I personally like Mclaren, followed by Ketsbaia.

Jak anwick...what a waste of space

Every time the ball is near him he is panicked... That last goal was easly stoppable or at least to palm it out wards... jeezuz

Last paragraph from article in independant rings a bell: And he (new manager) will face the same problems: an owner happy to meander in mid-table in the league, rake in the television money and sell the best players if the right offer comes in. Unless Ashley suddenly decides to strive for something other than mediocrity, there is only frustration ahead. And that is no laughing matter.

In the promotion play off last year they dominated QPR all game with expansive football and then harry got a lucky counter attack at the end of the game.

I think we are all living on the euphoria of Pardew's departure whilst thinking aboput the selection of the next manager. My money goes on someone being promoted from within: They know how the "bring em in cheap, sell em on for double" works, how arselicking a huge fat arse will keep them in a job, the man above will save cash, pay them peanuts and have the monkey to keep the masses occupied with their cheap tricks... Oh... to be a Newcastle fan!

I would quite like Mclaren, plays some decent attacking stuff these days and has plenty of experience, doesn't come across as a snide, slimy cnut either!!

Absolutely, cards on the table time. I'm continually baffled by posts like this, in 2014. He appointed Alan Pardew 4 years ago, man. The cards have been on the table for so long they're covered in tea stains. Totally agree, it's like groundhog day every time he has a new decision to make. He is so thin skinned. Any criticism he takes clearly hurts him so much that he feels the need to use his power to make people's lives a misery. People went at him because he made some insanely stupid decisions that ruined the club in some respects, the appointment of Pardew and everything since has just been a big f*** you. His only long-term plan goes alongs the lines of, 'f*** them, their club can rot and make me money while we're at it'. Most normal people would have taken it on the chin, sold the club and moved on. He's obviously a petty, hateful man. This (x2)

Glass of Port and slice of cheese for me... (old git!)

They did nowt aside from bringing the spotlight directly over the man's head, finally exposing his shitness after years of the media ignoring it following the 5th-placed finish. Nowt except bringing international attention to his terrible record and finally putting an end to the ridiculously easy ride he was having. And nowt except educating the man himself on how much he is disliked by the fan base, which has undoubtedly made it an easier decision for him to f*** off to Crystal Palace. These guys have played a huge part, make no mistake about it. Wonderfully satisfying to see the fans still able to make a difference against the corporate behemoths of modern football. This!! well put!

Wow, Bielsa would be delicious! Quite like the possibility of FdBoer

Any official confirmation? I just can't beleive it's true...
-
not really, hypothetical at best...

I would like a big clear out of the rest of the staff as well if Pardle leaves. Our attacking play is crap apart from Ayozes own creativity making chances for the team. Get rid of steve stone and Carver asap... Some new tactics at corners ... yippee!

Everton really are horrible. All over place. their defence looks like a mirror image of ours...
