Saylor is a capable defender on his day but i've seen him have many a 'mare at CB. Limited appearances aye but Dummett has only ever looked a competent CB. Ryan Taylor was absolutely woeful the first few games at LB. QPR in particular - and he had Jonas covering for him. I've little time for Dummett the fullback but medium-term i'd like to see him have a decent run in the side. KI - I don't know what you're talking about. You dislike how I write but it is a fact Paul Dummett has only ever looked a solid CB for us. Excellent player is obviously excessive but you can be a very good PL CB and be pretty limited on the ball. Saylor is a good defender except when he has those "doh" moments of his, it is mainly his stupid mistakes (that happen 1 in 3) that stop him from being a real quality player. Dummet looks more comfortable in central defence than at fullback and add to this that haidara is doing so well, my first central pairing would be Colo and dummet, with stevie close behind...

Problem for me is that if he puts Tiote back in then we have two very defensive midfielders playing next to each other rather than Mehdi who is more positive with the ball and capable of making things happen.

He's extremely game aware like. His passing is a bit random at times, but other than that - his movement is quite special. Would like him to get some shots off quicker though. Yep, he should have hit the pass from moussa first time when he was through on the keeper, too many touches...

Tell you what, that Bolassie would walk into any prem team at the moment... Very impressive! Enjoying the red mass drowning in inept team displays at the moment. Actually enjoying football at the moment, if only Pardle could catch a voice nulling cold or something and it would be perfect...

Difference between Raylor and Anita is that you are guaranteed 100% from Raylor and always get a decent game, whilst with Anita it is 60/40 chance you will get a good game from him but when he does produce he's great. Raylor probably swings it for me with the fret from set pieces...

Think you've nailed it. Take out Cisse and insert tiote (if fit), moving sissoko forward and I think you will have it...

We could also take into consideration his very low moral standards: he had a current girlfriend. This for me is also another nail in the rape conviction coffin... I think him and colback make a for a really good pairing tbh... moussa in front of them gives us some forward drive. Mehdi is always lookign for a positive pass, nothing gerrardesque (which I like) but always moving forward. I quite like the team set up at the moment, imagine if we had a cesc type midfielder we'd be a carbon copy of chelsea... cough *** cough***

Heaps of confidence, loved when he beat dawson for the ball that bounced and shived him off and then got a corner... cool player, looks a lot less than he actually plays. Reminds me a bit of aguero?

Liverpool may have had a lot more possession but the truth is that they spent more time passing the ball along their back line and defensive midfielders than anything else, i don't think we've looked more comfortable in any other game. We always looked more threatening with our quicker and more direct breaks than they did with their patient pass it to death at the back game.... Least that was how it looked to me... Highlights were: Pardew's team selection - still can't believe he didn't play gouffran, well done for once! Mehdi - Complete midfield performance, love seeing someone snapping at the heels of the opposition and the rythym and calmness he brings to the midfield. Colo, Taylor & Yanmat - Soaked up any threat with ease. The changes were spot on aswell, cisse looked a bit jaded and it was a shame that cabella didn't get that second goal...
