@relámpago blanco Whilst he’s had a few games he didn’t have much of a pre season as he trained alone which would have been basic fitness routines and spent some time using Sociedad’s facilities which would have been more of the same. @relámpago blanco @RUHRLYASLEEVESUP Maybe our system suited him but he’s an excellent finisher and that’s not due to the system we played, if you look at his goals I don’t see Liverpool not being able to create similar opportunities for him.

It would be foolish to believe in the long run he doesn’t bang in the goals for them but I’ll enjoy it for now. Things happen for a reason and work out in the end (most of the time). I don’t think we’ll miss him massively though his absence has fucked the start of our season due to the last minute nature of things.

Always had the talent if not for injuries he’d have featured more for us as I think Howe had confidence in him. Some argue he’d not reach these levels with us due to lack of game time but I don’t think that would have been an issue due to the amount of games we had. Just shit PSR forced his sale. Eddie seems to have confidence in Miley as well and I think he will reach these levels if not further.

If they did isn’t that what experienced players do for younger teammates?

If we could get striker cover in the January window I’d like him loaned out to a good team in a decent league. He needs development time and I don’t think the odd cup game and a few sub minutes in the league is enough. Theres talent there, strength, speed and trickery to work with.
