Don’t follow academy football but don’t we have a blueprint for a style across all age groups that reflects how the first team plays? Kind of like how Barca have a style (tiki taka) players are coached in from youth football all the way to first team.

Wasn’t he a bit of a twat, remember something about a punch up in a nightclub.

I won’t complain too much about the point considering past results against Bournemouth but the ball retention, passing and chance creation was poor and needs improving. If we had a few more draws last season instead of loses we’d have finished higher up the league.

Big Willy coming on with Lascelles.

Just pulled level against Villa.

Pope struggled there with the back pass.

Absolute shit from Willock.

Our passing has been terrible.

Halls been pretty shit but understandable given the injury lay off.

Nah he rolled his own ankle.

Yeah but they’ve got a ceiling.

That was it pretty much but McCoist on the TNT feed mentioned him having a munch and the co-commentator said something along the lines of “I hope he doesn’t have a stitch when he comes in”.

Wonder if he’d take a job as a director of football with us. Organise academy. , scouting, medicine, contract and transfer negotiations?

Thought he played ok and could have had a goal. He’s primarily a goal scoring winger and not that creative in open play but tidy enough in possession. If you accept him for what he is then you can’t be too critical of last nights performance. He’ll score over the course of a season and contribute but longer term one we need to move on in the PSR world to recoup our money to reinvest whilst he’s still youngish. If not for the PSR would be happy to have him as a squad player.

What the fuck are we playing it short and losing it.

Nice goal.

Willock being absolutely shit.

Dominated them is stretch. They had more possession, we had more chances, they scored more goals.
