Claim man doing his job removes cones because he’s a Mag. Cone off public highway, claim it’s for disabled people. News flash you don’t own the road in front of your property or business and can’t prevent others picking up and setting down passengers as well.
  3. Thought this was pretty good.
  4. If he wants another season of guaranteed playing why not sign him and loan him back? We get the player we want in a seasons time after more development and sign/loan an older forward who’s happy to be cover for Wilson this season.
  5. Man City related but it’s Twitter nonsense.
  6. The classic BIC 4 colour pen, essential part of any secondary school pencil case.
  7. Six months without competitive football he’d be seriously rusty.
  8. Happy for Wales. I know the narrative the media wanted was for Ukraine to go through but sporting merit comes first.
  9. He was an unknown keeper playing in the Czech league whose had a few years in the limelight at NUFC and been shakey in patches during that time. He isn’t good enough to be no.1 at a top club so it’s backup with us on the rise or join a mid table/lower end club. The wise move would be he backup at a club on the rise.
  10. Maybe their is an element of mental gymnastics to suit my viewpoint. I guess it’s up to the individual to decide what their comfortable with. I’m comfortable with slaughter for the purposes of food and accept there is pain and suffering in that process but would want it minimised as much as possible (pre stunning prior to slaughter, limits to time livestock can be transported, handling livestock in a humane way). I view acts solely to inflict pain as different to that though I accept if you’re dead then you’re dead and the reason makes no difference.
  11. The differentiating factor to me is the intention to cause pain for gratification purposes. Slaughter of animals causes pain for the purposes of food, it isn’t carried out for the sole purpose of inflicting pain whereas kicking and slapping a cat is done solely to inflict pain.
  12. It could be argued as someone in the public eye his behaviour could influence others as to what is/isn’t acceptable and so should be held to a higher standard, the same way a professional in a given field is held to a higher standard compared to a lay person.
  13. The reported mellowing of Saudi sentiment by owning NUFC and returning to the international fold. Footnote: Not serious.
  14. Should have been custodial.
  15. Should head to Saudi Arabia and play some pre season exhibition matches for huge fees. Not sponsorship so wouldn’t be covered by the related party rules.

Don’t they have a super rich French kid as the majority owner. Why is he not buying the remaining shares (the Twitter post reads as though it’s someone else with the statement about more info on the new owners).
  17. Saw this on Twitter but linking to the YouTube video. Some light hearted nonsense, some of the lyrics did make me chuckle.
  18. Didn’t the Boehly consortium pay off the debt just that it goes to charitable causes and not to Abramovich or did I imagine that?
  19. Why give away this years shirt in a promo announced today if a new shirt is being released the next day unless you’re not the sponsor? edit: on second thoughts the shirts signed by the squad so probably why.
  20. Didn’t want Liverpool to win but Real are a horrible club so feel no happiness for their victory.
  21. Ex Liverpool player and captain wishes the team he supports well. If Shearer was in management and he wished us well would we criticise him? Don’t think this has any bearing on his management of Villa. He’s a professional and will do his best for them.
