If we can’t beat Norwich and Burnley at home and get a draw at home to Brentford and away to Brighton then we’re stuffed.

Would be more embarrasing getting rid after all the legal fights and paying off Bein.

New owners need to act fast now and appoint a DOF and manager so they can: 1) planing and the prep work for the Jan transfer window 2) Improve the performances on field with the existing players, new tactics and enthusiasms plus the new manager bounce I think if we can scrap some points between now and January with a few signings we’ll kick on and be OK. Realistically we have two winnable games in my opinion between now and Jan. Likley to be on a losing run leading up to the window. Brighton away- Draw Brentford Home-Draw Arsenal- Away-loss Norwich-Home-Win Burnley- Home- Win Leicester-Away- Loss Liverpool- Away- Loss Man City- Home- Loss Man U- Away- Loss Everton- Away- Loss
  4. Get him here in January.

    Transfer rumours

Would be hilarious if we spent our money abroad and improved the team without given the other PL teams any of that Saudi cash. Players like lingaard and Tarkowski will be in the last 6 month of their contracts so the last opportunity to sell or loose them for nothing.

    Rodrigo Gary Vilca

Goal by Vilca yesterday v Cheltenham in. 3-2 win.
  7. Mark Lawrensen talking nonsense on Football Focus. Saying the best players won’t want to come up to the North East, you’d think you were asking players to move to Chernobyl.
  8. Did a good job with little money, had an affinity with the fans and wanted the best for the club so I can see why fans like him. That said our paths don’t align as he only recently took the Everton job and doesn’t walk out on contracts so we move on.
  9. I didn’t read anywhere that having the same chairman was blocked, lots of senior managers have directorships across different companies?
  10. But as Aramco aren’t owned by PIF this new rule can’t stop them sponsoring us. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN23O0VK
  11. Which would never hold up in court. The Athletic story states Man City abstained based on strong legal advice that it was illegal what was being hatched.
  12. Isn’t the ban on owners sponsoring clubs through their other companies so for example PIF can’t use Disney to sponsor us. Aramco is separate from PIF as is SABIC. Not sure why Vision 2030 can’t sponsor us as well as it’s a government initiative and not part of PIF.
  13. Just get friendly countries to Saudi Arabia to sponsor us like Bahrain and then divert the money to them for the smaller sponsorships like sleeves and a market value deal with Aramco or Saudia for the main shirt sponsor so the Saudis get their prestige. edit.
  14. Maybe he learnt from the experience after reflecting on what he did wrong and does it differently? Think that an instant improvement would be the players fitness as they seem unable to close down opposition. Plus having millions to spend in the winter transfer window will help, sign a few players like we did in the window where Sissoko and others turned up will be a massive shot in the arm.
  15. Didn’t know that ? maybe it’d be the kick up the arse Fraser needs to improve
  16. Enough with this Lampard, Gerard, Rooney nonsense. Offer it to Eddie Howe, played decent football with Bournemouth before relegation and is available. Knows Wilson, Ritchie and Fraser and might get better performance out of Fraser. Three year fixed term contract, performance related bonuses for year on year improvement. Option to extend if we become a top four side. £200m a year made available for transfers. He’d be mad to turn it down.
  17. Need to fuck him off now we’ve let him have his 1000th game and get in DOF and manager ASAP. Get some points between now and the Jan transfer window to keep from falling too far behind and then kick on.
  18. First time I’ve heard Jamie Reuben speak, came across well without giving too much away. Very well spoken. Saying they’re in it for the long term. edit: interviewed by his mate Redknapp
  19. Good on you Kieron, saying on Super Sunday that other sports don’t get the same outrage about Saudi involvement.
  20. Sorry who/what is TF, I signed up as trust member when the Saudi deal broke down a year or so ago. Not sure if I should remain a member if the leadership aren’t in it for the greater good.
  21. Would PIF be an active investor?

    Joe Willock

If we sign a higher calibre of player then he’s back to where he was at Arsenal.
  23. Says he’s looking forward to visiting the city and club, something he couldn’t do because of the old ownership after how things ended for him.
