in the scottish News of the world it says Kevin Keegan has added Rangers stopper Carlos Cuellar to his scottish shopping list. The Newcastle boss has a £24m war chest for the audacious triple raid which is already headed by Aiden McGeady. Keegan has Personally checked out the irish wing wizard who has already won 17 caps and is valued at £11m. Keegan seemed ready to bid in january until the club decided to put a block on transfers until the summer. He is on record as admiting he is looking north of the border to solve his problems. In addition to McGeady Keegan has also been Impressed by Scott McDonald.

Post-Celtic comments from Albert Luque: "I'm happy, but I'm very demanding with myself and I know I can give more on the pitch. "I am perhaps having the best feeling since I arrived at Newcastle and I only ask that they give me opportunities. "I have had a good understanding with the new trainer since his arrival. I believe I am demonstrating what I can do, little by little. "But my problems at Newcastle have not been due to lack of communication with the different trainers, but simply that I have not had enough continuity in the team." www.nufc.com

Walking back after the game was unbelievable. Celtic fans barging through women and young kids, singing religous songs, actually saw and heard them shouting 'IRA rule ya bastards' to many in black and white tops trying to provoke a reaction. If it wasn't so sad it'd be funny - but heard a group of grown men shouting in the faces of two young lads and a girl -'We've won the European Cup - more than you're Alan Shearer's ever done'. If these guys were 30 years old or under they weren't even born when they won it. A moronic bigoted support. Be delighted if we never see them at St. James' ever again. Aye, bunch of scumbags. Hope we don't play them again. What about Rangers fans last time they were down, just as bad? Rangers fans are spot on from what I've seen, Celtic fans hate the english (not all but that's the general perception) where as rangers are proud do be british hence the flying of union jack flags at scotland games. haha they are as bad as each other. any other club in scotland hate them both.

on Newcastle world. big sam is saying Luque needs to push himself to exhaustion and beyond exhaustion, he says its really painful the most painful thing ever and Luque needs to keep going and pushing himself to the barrier
-
Cant believe people are slagging Luque over last nights game, it was his first game in ages so he was likely to be slow and a bit poor. cant argue with scoring twice tho
