I’m still in.......Firmly believe this will happen, though i think it will be next month before any significant movement happens.....Believe HTT knew something but his news was delayed for some reason......my only worry (i know shouldn’t be in this thread) is BRUCE........i don’t join the bandwagon of punters who think the takeover wont happen because Bruce is still here...I’m more of the opinion that it’s close and Ashley doesn’t want to waste any money on sacking him.....however whilst the Pie eating Monster is around i worry that relegation may just have an influence in precedings.

And? And? Obvious.........money, money, money.......the takeover took too long to prove.......had to change tact.......attacking now on two fronts...arbitration and Threat takes longer.....but now we have our 3 owners ready to go...........JUST HAVE TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES

Hello everyone....thought I’d just bring this back for the evening as things are getting a bit heated in the other thread.....Looking forward to perhaps hearing some good news Monday or later in the week.....Understand fully that many people think this takeover will not happen and may be proven correct in time...meanwhile in this time of lockdown, my only glimmer of excitement is the possibility that we may soon be under new ownership...enjoying all the positive vibes from the many members who would also like to see this happening and rid us of this evil!!......those who think otherwise.....fine.....but I’m sure most of you would love to be proven wrong....its like betting on us to lose an FA Cup final....win whatever happens

It's so sad to see our fanbase bitching........whatever your criticism's of NCSl are, any fans who are trying in their own unique way to try and do something about the intransigence of the PL, deserve our support....we may disagree with their methods or even their style of correspondence but at least they are trying something.How often have we(our fanbase) posted on twitter, facebook, forums about our displeasure of Ashley's tenure, but how many of these same people actually tried to do something about it......I for one applaud their efforts, and believe they should earn our respect for their time.....even if we disagree with their methods or(in some peoples opinions), their lack of communicative skills......Feel free to disagree with their methods but don't take the piss for their efforts.

This is true but we had a great manager in Benitez and we allowed him to walk away, in no properly run football club would it be acceptable to replace a manger of his pedigree with Bruce. I’m also at the hatred levels with Bruce, however I don’t believe in any way replacing him with another manager moves the club any further forward long term. The only way forward is regime change and until that happens everything else is pointless, and a waste of all our time. The club is currently dead in its current guise and the only flicker of life we have is this takeover. Whilst I agree with your sentiment, there's no way we'll survive in the PL under Bruce.........we have a half decent squad with decent defensive capabilities and useful attacking options....we need urgently to get rid of Bruce and appoint anyone with half a brain.....survival is necessary to allow a takeover a chance...get someone in now....get 2-3 Loan midfield players, and all we are saying is "give PIF a chance"...

I’m all for positivity but let’s try not just post any old s**** that’s on twitter I’d be as well saying I’ve 100% heard it’s gonna happen. It’s positive but it’s total bollocks The only criteria for this thread is positive optimism and the above tweet meets the criteria. Anyone who doesn’t want to stay positive.....fine........but stay in the other thread......this one is for those who feel good reading anything that puts a smile on their face...be it twitter tweets or hearsay comments heard in the local chippy

Law of averages says one of these Twitter comments may eventually be right.......I’m less likely to believe an nufc tweet “Harry here from Benwelll....just heard”....often thought a tweet from someone not connected to the club, may one day be spot on...on the other hand there’s plenty of wind up merchants out there.

I saw this earlier and did wonder if this might benefit the takeover...think it can't but help relations with Saudi and the PL, if Qatar now don't feel the need to try and stop the bid....wonder if TV rights may not now be as important a barrier.

Bring back the "Positive Optimism" thread and politely ask those who are overly pessimistic to post in the other thread and leave this thread to those who like to believe it's still going to happen...Go on Whitley Mag and Rocker (to name but 2) start us off again and make the weekend feel a lot brighter.

I would not be in the least bit surprised if he returned with a bit of a bang in the near future. Can't deny that as each silent day passes, I give up that little bit more. Been said a thousand times before but i wish there was just some finality to this, either way. There is , just accept its over , the Pl is rigged , football is bloated and corrupt . Act accordingly ... it's healthy having so many new members join the forum since this takeover saga started......assumed they were interested to see/read and hear all the news about our potential change of luck....what I can't understand is why they then proceed to tell us all "it's over"....please leave us to dream about what might still happen to our club.....we don't want your pessimism and negativity even if it is true....we would just like to be left alone with our thoughts and dreams......I frequent this board regularly to get my daily dose of "positive" updates from the likes of Whitley Mag....Mind you this may just be my opinion, and as said previously everyone has the right to be on the board and discuss all sides of the takeover, either positive or pessimistic......Personally I only like to read the "nice" ones.....Rant Over
