The worst I`ve seen him play. Can`t remember if it was the equaliser or second because I was drinking but he left Simpson with the whole right side of the pitch to himself in surrounded by Liverpool players in our own half and Simpson had to kick it out. He didn`t give Simpson who was having a good game up until he took Krul out an option all night. Then as Liverpool got more confidence I must have seen Ober standing still watching us under pressure about 6 times in shot of the camera.

Keeper Attacks Supporter and Match Abandoned (Dutch Cup Game -AJAX/AZ)
Rebellious replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
Didn`t look any different to what Rooney did to Colo a few matchs back. -
Sturridge, Bent , RVP in no order. Has alot to do with there football skills as well as there attitude towards others and lack of diving etc.

How does that make them cunts like? Heavily watering the pitch for hours at this time of year will make is a heavy pitch, slow the ball down on the deck too Every team in the league waters their pitch ffs. Norwich wouldn't want to slow the ball down either, that isn't their style of play. Hasn`t rained down south for weeks I don`t think.

Tiote as a CB = 2 yellows, 2 pens. He is far to clumsey.

http://www.faw.org.uk/news/FAW81615.ink A Book Remembrance has been set-up at the reception of the Football Association of Wales. The office is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. In addition, an area has been set-aside outside as a Garden of Remembrance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Football Association of Wales are sad to announce the death of the national team manager Gary Speed. We extend our sympathies and condolences to the family. We ask that everyone - especially the media - respects the family's privacy at this very sad time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gary was appointed one year ago and was given the brief to prepare the Wales senior squad for qualification to the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil. During his year in charge, the results and performances in the final European Championship qualifiers and friendly games suggested that there were strong grounds for optimism that the team could challenge for a place in the finals in three years time. As a player, Gary had an exemplary career. A versatile player who could feature in midfield as well as defence, he won 85 international caps over a period of fifteen years between 1990 – 2004 before retiring at the end of Mark Hughes’ time as manager. Many felt that he still had further international years in him, but he used the time to continue his club career, eventually making more than 750 first team appearances. Born in Mancot in Flintshire, he was a star schoolboy player and was signed by Leeds United in 1988, making his debut as a nineteen year old. His eight-year stay at Elland Road saw the club win the First Division Championship in 1982 and he also featured in a League Cup Final defeat in 1996. He then had a short spell of eighteen months with Everton after a £3.5m move, but it was with Newcastle United from 1998 onwards that he came-into his own as a senior player, with more than 200 Premier League appearances and becoming part of the side that reached FA Cup Finals in 1998 and 1999. The side managed by Bobby Robson and including Alan Shearer. It was one of the great sides from that famous club. Gary’s final clubs were Bolton Wanderers (2004-08) and Sheffield United (2008-2010). He began to mix playing with coaching and when Kevin Blackwell was sacked as Sheffield United manager at the start of the 2010-11 season, Gary was appointed as his successor. However, after only a few months in the post, he was linked to the vacant Wales managerial position and given permission to talk to the FAW. This he did and was appointed to the post in December 2010. All at the FAW admired Gary’s passion for the job and task of taking the team back up the European and World rankings. With the qualifying dates for the next World Cup group agreed only last week in Brussels, there was much to look-forward to over the next few years. That this tragedy should have overtaken someone so young and talented is a huge loss not only for his family and friends but a nation as a whole. FAW Chief Executive, Jonathan Ford said: ‘I, and all of the football family of Wales, am devastated by the news of Gary’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family at this difficult time.’ FAW President, Phil Pritchard added: ‘I am completely shocked by this terrible news and my thoughts are with his family. We will do whatever we can as an association to help them in this difficult time.’ All our thoughts are with his family and this sad time. I was hoping it was an online book of rememberance.

Wtf, i`m in shock here, met the bloke a few times during his NUFC playing days. Still got his parking pass he gave me. I just don`t get it.

Good video interview at bottom of the page if this hasn`t been posted http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3962481/Manchester-United-news-Alex-Ferguson-fumes-at-shocking-penalty-decision.html

Yeah Gary Neville has been good, unbiased, praises us while everyone else was putting it down to a bad performance by whoever we play. Also last night he noticed Jonas being as important as Ba rather than going with the predictable MOTM = Whoever scores. His voice does make me sleepy though.

We have not really played the type of teams I would bring back a lightweight flair player struggling physiologically with the physical side of the prem. The few sub appearances he has put in he has pulled out of challenges. He will come good, probably against the more skillful less physical teams.
-
Shola hasn`t changed in the past decade or more. He always has a knack of scoring important goals, its just sandwiched inbetween them is 100`s of minutes of slow dross, poor control and injuries. As for Pardews subs he has been a bit slow to react at times. Not that I have slated Pardew. I`m a very happy supporter at the moment, its been years since we all have something to really be proud of again.

I can`t understand why most are desparate to put the new players on at the start. When they came on for 20mins they were clearly not up to match sharpness or the Premiership speed of things. Hatem got caught with the ball 3 times and Santon got out muscled and left for dead once. Obviously once they are ready they will be better but at the moment they are not. Jonas was invaluable yesterday second best player after Toite. So Marve can wait. Best won every header from balls lumped up field which bought us vital seconds of time just as important as scoring imo. Ba scored. Raylors free kicks were spot on everytime. Simpson is more settled than Santon. Ober caught up with Bale and made a tackle a few times which was needed. Before kick off I was a bit worried that our main eleven were not going to be able to hold there own against a better team after the Wolves game but they did step up.

How can money not be an excuse ? Petrol has gone from 80p to 1.35 and if you drive a 4.4 like me its costing me nearly £80 more a month to do the same old shit. Bread from 80p to £1.42 as an example, Its not about tickets going up or down, its everything else. My business is actually doing better this year but I can`t afford to do half the shit with my kids I used too. i`m no economist but if you think money isn`t effecting people then a) you still liva at home with mum and dad or b) you have a good top job.

I couldn`t give 2 fucks who owns it. For me its about the team on the pitch and if we are getting results and how we are playing. I can`t see how people stuck with FS yet can`t stomach MA. They both have there own set of stupid faults. Leading upto SBR going neither of the 2 owners have made the fans happy. I think FS edges it as the biggest prick out of the pair and is probably the better liar. As it it stands the past 2/3 years have been the best for footballing reasons for me since the SBR days and Keegan before that.
-
Mentioned Ba was struggling through at first because of ramadam in his interview on Sky.
-
Definatly lack of cash. If people sat through Souness as manager they will sit through anything.
-
Funny, I thought the cameras looked down at the pitch... and yep, not shown on MOTD once. At the end of Match Choice on Sky it is a shot of the stand with the logo with the score underneath, lasts for about 4 seconds, no biggie really. I much prefer to watch the football than the stands. Some people feel threaterned by change no matter what change it is.

Forest 3 - 4 Newcastle (Carling Cup) - 20/09/11 - post-match reaction from p55
Rebellious replied to Dave's topic in Football
Any other coverage than 5Live ? these two commentators are just talking crap and nothing about the game ? -
Good write up.

Any player we look forward to seeing in the Black and White always gets injured first or 2 games in. Its the NUFC law. All the crying about the striker over the summer, if we had signed one he would have got injured aswell.
-
Stick the boot in a bit more you pussy. Thats all I can say about him so far.
-
Shouldn`t have picked Shola over Loven based on keeping Raylor in the team theology. Something I didn`t see during the match but on a Sky montage at the end, Pardew seemed to be pissed off with most of the team seemingly doing nothing tactically they planned in training all week. Loads of clips of him screaming at players. Credit for sorting the defense out, Simpson`s gone up a level so has Best but whats he done to Tiote ?
-
Looks like he is suffering with whatever Shola suffers from. Some sort of confusion cuased by the ball at his feet.
-
Looked like scoring until he got knee capped by Derry. After that he faded. Plays better with Loven. He got pissed off with Shola a few times for playing too far away from him.
