If she actually likes football get her to go to http://www.thefa.com/womens-girls-football/get-involved/sse-wildcats You can type in your postcode and find your nearest girls football coaching center, thats what I did when my daughter asked to learn to play after watching a few Newcastle games on TV. It only costs £2 a session and they are set up to help girls overcome their premeditated thoughts on football. They get books, drinking cups, medals and all sorts to keep them interested at the start. My daughter is being coached by an Arsenal womens youth team player at the minute.

Well that's Redfearn definitely out the picture judging by your previous track record Got to get one right at some stage. It just smacks of the whole hughton saga all over again. I'd also question any decent respectable ambitious manager wanting to come work for us with the conditions in place. Thsts why it will be some out of his depth no hoper No manager with brain would come here unless their career was already dead. Who in their right mind would think they could keep the club up knowing that Rafa could only just scrape it for 2 seasons.

Me too, I have been keeping as busy as possible and day dreaming a bit. Its about this time I start looking forward to our friendlies, 5 mill players and loan signings. A bit of a void at the minute.

Has anyone else seen a sliding tackle yet ? If not I wonder if it will become part of their football in years to come. I must admit when I say a fair few games its on but I`m flicking back and forth on here and work emails so I may be completely wrong.

From what I have seen the quality is easily league 1 lower championship just lacking the pace and strength. Some of the vision, passing and shots ( less power ) have been lower premier league. I have watched a fair few games and can`t remember seeing one sliding tackle though. You really think that? Any half decent amateur team would beat any of these teams. Maybe I didn`t explain it too well, I think the passing, vision and technique is good enough, but they lack the power and pace so they could easily get beat.

He also had a long term plan for us. Not sure if that can be said for anyone else that’s managed us recently. I’m still fucking livid he’s gone. Yeah me too, just had my daughter crying about it randomly from nowhere after football practise all at the same time as listening to a family of spurs fans next door having a right laugh at their BBQ.

That doesn`t mean they hadn`t already thought of using that name ?

Clubs Twitter plugging pre season, the replies on there are good but not enough. I wanted to reply in full rage mood but couldn`t because I have Barack Obama following me and i`m not sure quite how Twitter works would it come up on his feed ? I rarely use it.

Same here, live too far away to go to matches, although I used to go to the odd one pre Ashley. I don`t pay for Sky. If we pick up any points against teams I despise for various reasons I will be happy but I think by November it will be pretty clear we will probably finish bottom. The only way Ashley used to get money from me was through the kids wanting the shirts. I don’t think I’ll be able to be happy if we pick up points like. Hopefully I won’t know the results anyway, but if I do I can’t imagine feeling anything but robbed and angry. Doesn't matter that we have a cunt in charge, it's still our team and no way could I ever be angry about the team getting a result. If Ashley is still in charge at the start of the season, boycott the matches, don't buy any merchandise, don't pay for sky-Amazon-BT, but come on angry because your team is getting a result is a bit much. More like angry that my club has been taken away, therefore I can’t get enjoyment from results. Don’t understand how you could TBH, it’s pointless. Its not the gaining of 3 points from a win because your right it will be pointless I can`t see us staying up, it would be the team I don`t like losing 3 points, sharing the misery.

Never again in Ashley`s time, we lucked out with Rafa. Once he has gone (dies) It wouldn`t be long as long as we don`t get an Ashley part 2 as an owner. People drop dead all the time from 50 upwards, that`s my only hope

Has anyone posted the article in the Mirror by Brian Reade, only now catching up after a power cut last night. Mike Ashley could have had it all at Newcastle but will go down as a mean loser, Somehow, billionaire tycoon Ashley never embraced Newcastle United's enormous potential under world-class manager Rafa Benitez https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/mike-ashley-could-newcastle-go-17261731

Well that lasted 24 hours, my 5 year old last night at bedtime "I`m giving up football now Rafa is not my boss" Luckily 5 year olds are resilient, she will be kicking a ball again after school.

I will carry on coaching my daughter but go to more of her clubs matches as her club has about 15 teams, all ages.
-
If it was me buying the club I would open up the ground for fans and have a massive bornfire on the centre circle.

Yeah hopefully Thursday, its my birthday.

I was at that match and met Shearer for the first time in the Player lounge after. Got a photo of him with the bandage off after, i`m sure I uploaded it on here years ago. When ever I think back to that day I remember Gary Speed drinking a Brown Ale having a laugh with friends and family after the match.

Mike Dean makes 100 Reds, surprised we are not top of his list. I never knew this little fact either -18 years after his first Premier League dismissal (Nolberto Solano of Newcastle). Teams Dean has shown most red cards to Teams Red cards Chelsea 9 Manchester City 9 Newcastle United 7 Arsenal 6 Stoke City 5 Tottenham 5 West Brom 5 Birmingham 4 Charlton 4 Manchester United 4 Sunderland 4 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47795794

I wonder what he said to Mike Dean at full time ? I lip read Mike Dean saying "what for".
