Our best player for me again.

When we were on top in the first 25-40 minutes Diame was doing the same shit he always does, jogging around without possession. When we eventually made it to the final third I lost count of how many times he seemed asleep when the ball was played to him and we had to spend 5 minutes getting the ball back and 5 minutes building from the back. I think this was why the rest of the players started taking long range shots. The midfield had no choice.

I can`t think of any of our players making the right decisions lately.

This was my thoughts, plus most refs would have let that go with 10 seconds to go. Probably helped the goal difference by 1 and played well tonight.

He did less of his walking around and actually ran a few times but he seemed unlucky and clumsy yesterday. I am sure 2 maybe 3 times he tackled back it actually pinged off his shins putting them through on our defence.

Its weird for me, when we signed Lejeune, Joselu and Merino I was really underwhelmed and a bit pissed off, but if they play like they have done so far, for all of this season I`m not as annoyed as I should be. Still pissed we didn`t get a keeper, number 10 and a left back.

Back from the match, live 8 miles away. That was an embarrassing walk to the car park. Lost count of how many times we seemed to hoof it to Atsu, our shortest player ? Diame looked shocked every time he was passed the ball, by the time he woke up he was surrounded. The ref was a bit of a plank but had nothing to do with any of the goals conceded. Every one was not good enough, backing off etc
