Interesting day. Considering Rafa has constantly said he won't sell him on deadline day it would have to be a pretty big offer for him to change his mind completely.
-
Crossing, acceleration and flair are his strengths.
-
Yeah, he's a proper moneyball purchase for someone
-
18-20m Congratulations. You're still wrong.

Don't think so. I think the most likely scenarios are: 1. A deal with someone is in progress and has been for a while. Rafa maybe has a replacement ready to be announced. 2. He'll stay until January.
-
I would assume he has already done that. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/profiles/massadio-haidara-speaks-out-over-callum-mcmanaman-horror-challenge-tackle-could-have-ruined-my-life-8543135.html

He's an arsehole and a problem in the dressing room? What has happened?
-
Is everyone just mad about that tackle or has he done something else that I'm not aware of?
-
If he's better on the pitch than someone who "cares" they have nothing to complain about. They can care on the bench if they don't play better than him.
-
Well he was only on the pitch for half an hour. He's a big lad, whether he succeeds at this level will depend on if he can bully championship defenders. Not convinced tbh, I would have thought they'd be more likely to struggle with pace and movement, but he offers us a physical option anyway. Far rather him than someone like Crouch. Pace and movement is what other players around him should offer when Mitro receives the ball and ties a couple defenders to himself. If we get the Gayle-Mitro-Diame trio working we'll be deadly. Mitro holds the ball, gives it to Diame and Gayle uses the space opening behind to get on the end of a pass. Simple If the other players aren't available for the pass or use the space opening, he'll be pretty invisible. Probably will get on the end of a couple Ritchie crosses but that'll be it.

Definitely meant October 1st.
-
"Hopefully be a game winning second"? Does that mean he's hoping Cheltenham score?
-
It's what he does best. Lest we forget he almost single-handedly relegated us with his dog shit finishing. We really should've kept Pardew. Did I win?
-
Completely forgot they have a Finnish player. Not with a very Finnish name mind.

Stop prontonising neesy

I said this weeks ago and got ridiculed for it! If you say it in every thread, on every post, people may start to agree with you. I wouldn't normally do that but...I GOT RIDICULED. So why not.

Alright, good if he was up to the level and can provide some backup for which ever left winger we buy

Disagree completely. If he didn't have his history, and you didn't have pre-conceived ideas about him as a player, you'd be saying his performance yesterday was canny enough. He was fine. Did plenty of chasing and tracking. Got involved in a few nice bits of play between the front 3/4. Had a very good effort saved. A metre either side and we would have been raving about a great goal. He's not a great player, but he played fine, especially for someone who's barely kicked a ball for a year. I'm sure he chased back plenty and did a lot of tracking. That's what he offers and if that's what he's in the team for then fine, no problems. Stats wise it doesn't look good. By far least amount of possesion, least amount of touches, poor passing %, zero tackles, one (unsuccessful) dribble. Reading from that it seems even at this level he hides a lot behind the opposition and isn't available for a pass. Same old. Hoped he'd be a little more confident in this division. Where are you reading those stats? I didn't see him hiding at all, personally, and thought he put in as good a shift as anyone else. Although you could tell he hadn't played for a while because he didn't look match sharp. https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1084896/Live

Bollocks? It's pretty good actually and certanly better than nothing. Plus you get a pretty nice view of the formations and movements from this angle.

Is Gayle tweeting from upfront?
-
Got a love the Periscope dude

Sweet...periscope and radio almost in sync
