From Gameweek 27, thought I'd create a separate column on the league table called 'Arrogance'. It basically assesses how good you would be at betting on predictions in the long-term. Scoring The way the scoring systems is that you put an asterisk next to those predictions you make, which you believe to be "bankers" (or that you would feel comfortable betting on, basically). For every correct result (note: not score!) that you get right with an asterisk next to it, you get a point. If you get all the results right with an asterisk next to it in a gameweek, you get an additional ten points. Examples For example, just saw BeloEmre had posted this: He'd get three points (Newcastle, Everton and Man Utd won). However, for predicting he'd get fewer right, but getting all of those correct: ...he would get 12 points (Newcastle and Man Utd won, plus ten bonus points). Anyway, going to try it out for gameweek 27: Fulham v Stoke City Arsenal v Aston Villa Norwich v Everton QPR v Man Utd Reading v Wigan West Brom v Sunderland Man City v Chelsea Newcastle v Southampton West Ham v Tottenham Will see if it falls flat on its arse or not.

Darn it, knew I should have captained Michu instead of Suarez!

Used to love Nash until I found out he supported Tottenham

And you associate with these people? That was my reaction. I judge you manupstairs, I judge you!

Some decent competition for his place in the side wouldn't go amiss, this summer. Seems to be doing wonders everywhere else over the park.
-
He had a really good game overall. About time for fans to start hating on him in anticipation of him leaving in the summer though

Mata on the bench vs Wigan. Benitez you dick.

Bit of a shit way to lose the game. Perch being an idiot and a howler reminiscent of when Blackburn beat us at home a few years ago. The performance wasn't too bad, but 2-1 was a fair result. I'm not sure if the players were tired (seriously, who gives a fuck about international football at this point, let alone friendlies ffs) but they had more ambition second half, and we rather disappointingly reverted to too many long balls from Krul. This was in part due to Spurs' impressive harrying from the front, but part due to us being stupid. Fatigue may have played a small part, but I think it was more likely a tactical decision from above. Gutted to see Gouffran out, hopefully it won't be for too long. Think he has been quietly sensational for us so far. Missing the other Demba atm. I can't fault Cisse's attitude or commitment, but he's just not as good as Demba1. Not taking his chances well enough is the bottom line for a number nine who isn't fantastic at creating chances for others. All in all, crappy start to the weekend, will probably avoid football but not too disappointed with the performance. Provided we don't let our heads drop too much after this, I think we'll be safe, which means this game was just a bonus game in our write-off of a league season. Bring on the Europa.

Awful way to lose if that's how we lose it

Danny Mills - 'Pill taking was rife when I was a player'

Was it Mills that Henry used to routinely embarrass? Don't like him, anyway. -
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Newcastle United - 09/02/13 @ 12:45pm (Live on Sky)
Beren replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
There's a precedent for this, I think. What's the source on this btw? Sure I read quotes from AVB that he would at least be on the bench for Saturday. Not sure how I'd prefer Spurs to line up tbh. -
Ugh, going to miss this (unless I can weasel out of something, Costanza style). And the return leg is an early kick-off so I'll miss the first half of that too probably.

Yuuup. Quotes all read to me as following: Newcastle will have to have one helluva squad to achieve anything in the next 7.5 years

Think pretty fair Jamie Redknapp said Bale was in the same bracket as Messi and Ronaldo today, it was a bit weird because I was thinking this guy is meant to be an expert and what he just said is completely untrue to anyone with eyes. Oh you weren't kidding http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11662/8468204/Jamie-Redknapp-says-Gareth-Bale-can-be-as-good-as-Lionel-Messi-and-Cristiano-Ronaldo
