Ingrates. Assembled their best squad in four hundred years.
  2. Main: Man Utd Spurs DNB Braga DNB Side: AZ Mentalists Udinese Braga Spurs
  3. Names and reputations are better, not all their players though IMO.
  4. Walters' tasche is immemse, tbf.
  5. If someone has a message for Speed under their Toon top this weekend and they get booked for showing it... Was impressed with the common sense/decency of the ref when Billy Sharp dedicated a goal to his son recently.
  6. If Pilko thinks Skirge thinks Carr thinks Pieters is good enough for us that's good enough for Pilko and therefore good enough for me.
  7. ^ Just over evens. Tempted to throw in Olympiakos based on name alone. Don't follow Greek football. Playing a side called Doxa Dramas.
  8. Very concerned about Colo being overwrought. Would help so much if we had some vaguely competent/tested brought in/available from January. Don't think we're good enough to be in a position to rest the guy entirely for any game, but you feel he really does deserve a break! Quite grateful the Argentina national set up is a little moronic. Speculation/opinion on my part, but over the course of 2011 (calendar year) I think our star performer has quite comfortably been Colo, followed by Jonas. The latter's performances have started to drop off over the last few games (prior to his dismissal) and I imagine it's because he's done more running and work than anyone in the team. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but it would be nice if we could start to rotate players out of games after 70odd- minutes (if we have a comfy-ish lead, for example). The ilk of Sammy, Vuckic and Abeid can get game-time and be nurtured, while older/indispensable heads can avoid running themselves into the ground for the full 90 week-in week-out.
  9. AVB pretty much confirming they'll revert to 4-3-3 and drop Torres http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15953404.stm
  10. Like the idea, not this one though - too close to the correct title. Makes us seem like RTG-calibre typists.

Definitely isn't shite. Still got a lot of work to do, but he's a great prospect and works very well in Arsenal's set-up. Infuriating bedding-in period(/season?) for Arsenal fans to stomach though
  12. Koscielny has been gradually getting better even time I've seen him, the old takes a season to settle issue no doubt, he was turboshit last year. Yeah, laughably bad. The Verminator's return has helped too, no doubt.
  13. Nah, it won't happen. Still think it's out of Spurs/Arsenal for 4th. I actually hope Chelsea stick with "AVB" - as they have got some exciting players in there, and he's clearly trying to get them playing a more attacking game, but at the moment it seems he's tried to go to that strategy a bit too soon, and they're suffering defensively for it. They've got some exciting young players in that squad, and have got the highly rated Lucas Piazón signing in January as well. He seems to have recognised things require freshening up, but it's difficult to enact in such a short space of time. Definition of a transition season IMO. Though with modern football that seems to be less and less acceptable for big/rich clubs.
  14. Agree with Wenger's post-match comments on the game. Some really promising performances from Coquelin and Koscielny in particular. Excuse my frazzled brain, but do we want Liverpool to reach the final/win? As presumably (if they finish above us in 5th for example), the fifth-place Eufa cup spot will then go down to the next team in the League.
  15. Knew I should've had more than £5 on this. Odds of 17/2 were insane.
  16. That was a good game. Arsenal played very well.
