  1. Really don't think Guthrie on the right has been atrocious - we created chances against Fulham (but Loven was on the end of them) and Bolton was a non-starter with Smith/Nolan in the middle. Not saying he has been fantastic (and can't wait for Barton to come back in), but I personally trust Hughton to assess where Routledge is at (compared to Guthrie) and make the right choice given that he is the one that sees them play day in, day out.
  2. Krul Simpson Taylor Soulman Enrique Guthrie Tiote Nolan Spidey Ameobi Carroll * - provided no one else gets suspended, between now and then.
  3. We should get Souness in as manager.
  4. Cheers If he'd placed second, for example, the return would be the same then?
  5. Some help please - can someone answer this hypothetical, please: You’ve had £10 e/w on Sergio Garcia at 20/1 in the Masters and he finishes in a tie for 5h place. The e/w terms are ¼ 1,2,3,4,5. What would be your return? Cheers anyone who understands each-way betting. I have never come across it/used it.
  6. They might try to bolster their midfield with a club record signing - Henry would be the first to recommend Alan Smith, I'm sure.
  7. Some good news: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wolverhampton_wanderers/9216939.stm

    Hatem Ben Arfa

1 month down [almost], 5 left.
  9. Desperate for a Blackburn/Stoke hammering. This is the downside of having less dominant top four clubs - Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd aren't walloping the annoying sides.
  10. I'm confident our first team is capable of a top half finish, our squad is probably between 14-17 IMO.
  11. Perfect Have Tevez, benched Hart for Robinson (all mates kept Hart in goal) [we need a 'smug as fuck' smilie]
  12. Wouldn't have thought Jo had the match fitness to start a Prem game. Has he had much playing time recently?
  13. Return of And no Essien. Bodes well.
  14. Still believe Williamson and Colo are our best defensive partnership, from what we've seen so far. I also think they have the most potential to improve together. Admittedly we haven't seen Campbell yet, but with Tiote back for Chelsea and Colo out suspended for three games (presumably) Campbell will get the opportunity to stake his place for a starting berth. I think any defensive partnership in the division would have struggled with Smith and Nolan ahead of them yesterday. Even the best defenders can look like dogshit with no protection.

  16. Thankfully we at least have a massive break to regroup.
  17. Players have more reason to apologise. Barton shunting Pedersen with his fist of fury. Tiote competing with Perch to get the best game:yellow card ratio. Nolan thick handball. Defenders not clearing the ball (you think a great big crack on the woodwork would have alerted them to danger?) Colo elbow.
  18. I've got Rocky on the other telly, still think we can win this.
  19. My head says this, but my heart says something along the lines of "MMmuUUueerrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh". Frustrating because we played pretty well in parts of that half. The goals we've conceded were really ridiculous errors too. That's life though. Hope we don't let our heads drop though. Second half comeback.
