Is it me or is Messi having trouble striking this strange ball? Certainly didn't in the first match. Officials have been brilliant so far. Only really the Cahill decision has been horrifically wrong and that game was over anyway, that i can think of anyway. He deserved to be sent off and cry after the game. Not because of the tackle though, just because he's a horrible, dirty player.

Not many of the roy-of-the-rovers, net-bursting finishing going on this World Cup. Most seem to be shooting almost tentatively instead of really bulleting the ball.

Looking at that fixture list makes me miss the relative ease of the Championship! Oh boy.

Very annoying. Also happened throughout the Champions League aswell though. it's a given in this country that milan is ac milan and inter is inter milan. it's a bit like getting annoyed when they say PSV instead of PSV eindhoven. Not really because plays Eto'o plays for "Inter" and they were/are saying "Milan"! Think you've misread something maddy.
