I voted for Harry in the BBC poll. Seems a popular vote.

Lucky to get back signal

Howe often played 4411 at Bournemouth and this second striker role is what he needs but EH seems wedded to 433 with the occasional 541 at present. Either there is a formation rethink in the summer or Nic needs to move house

I disagree. These little cynical fouls need to be eliminated from the game. Joelinton is the worst on our team but Citeh and others are the worst offenders at killing a break. I'd like sin bins or similar for any player making a deliberate foul and clubs docked points / fined if their team are consistent offenders.

I think that if you mark someone so close by putting both arms around their torso you have to accept that contact is likely

Play clock managed by an off field official. Like rugby etc all have a last play as time runs out.

In NFL every touchdown is reviewed and every play towards the end I believe. I look forward to every decision being made by AI on a consistent and accurate basis. The problem is that at present VAR is taking too long. Partially this is new technology but partially this is because the rules need to be rewritten for the modern age and we need to agree things like what is handball rather than leave it to subjective opinion

It is another burden on the referee. I'd give time keeping duties to a separate official; ideally with a game and play clock. The rules need a major re-write for the modern age as your comment about the throw in implies. With your suggestion the team winning the throw could just amble up to the ball. I think the time starts when the ball goes out of play as long as the multi ball is working. Same goes with all dead ball starts.

Impossible. If we play Chelsea then Barca will be in the other half of the draw and we would only play them in the final
-
There never has been a daylight rule. The last change in 1990 said that an attacker was onside if he was level with the last defender rather than having to be behind. Of course in a technology driven system the attacker and defender will never be exactly level so it it is back to the law makers to redefine level or we accept that Willock was in fact in front of the last defender

Thiaw at RB, Botman and Burn CBs if Miley isn't fit. Allow Hall to bomb on in possession leaving three at the back. Bit like the first CL qualification season -

Went to see Walthamstow lose to Waltham Abbey in a local derby whilst visiting family over Xmas. Standard was decent for the crowd of 250 and there were some proper long throws to enjoy. Bovril required to stay warm.

As we've never lost a LC semi we are effectively playing for a place in the final tonight -
We need to get bodies closer to him. I think he needs to play with Wissa in some form of 352 formation
-
It will be five at the back...we need the height
-
...and Terry Mac

The ref only goes to the screen if the decision is subjective. For "matter of fact" decisions like offside and handball the VAR official makes the call.
-
Apparently the same Dr we used for Botman so no worries ....too slow (edit)
-
Surprised we didn't see Lewis Hall tonight

A lot of LFC fans are ahead of you with that plan and are already there
