  1. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1343541/Newcastle-lining-January-QPR-attacking-midfielder-Adel-Taarabt.html
  2. I think this will end up being like the 2002-2003 season. Two teams eventually fall away and then 3 or 4 left fighting to avoid the last spot and needing a relatively high point total to do so (40+).
  3. Smith to give away free kick in perilous position. T minus 10, 9, 8....
  4. Amoebi. Got his goal, now back to thrashing around like a donkey, losing possession and frowning.
  5. Fucking irritating but predictable. First half of dominance, only one goal to show for it, and then sit back and watch them lose the plot.
  6. Should really be getting more than one goal out of this 45. Frustrating.
  7. The media has informed Pardew that Taylor is a good defender and it is going to take at least 3 points before he learns it isn't true.
  8. I want to see Tiote better Parker's tackle on Joe Cole from a few season's ago by adding at least an additional 1/2 turn mid air and a bit of karma leg snappage. Indifferent about the result.
  9. Still would. I think at least one team is going to go down this season with over 40 points.
  10. 'Giving Pardew a chance' is just complacency. Crossing your fingers and hoping for the best while the plane crashes into the fucking mountain. It is making a tacit assumption that Mike Ashley and his gambling mates are making an effort to succeed, when they are not. Wake up. Football clubs don't run on positive thoughts, good will and pixie dust.
  11. Court. Take a page out of Keegan's book and sue Ashley for unfair dismissal.
  12. Whats the point of holding your tongue at every destructive decision, clapping politely, praying the team doesn't get relegated, watching as all decent players are sold in the summer, and then clapping politely as process repeats itself next season? Stupid as footballers may be, I don't think the players are thick enough to interpret booing and protesting as somehow directed at them.
  13. Of course he can. How could anyone lack a pessimistic imagination at this point? Of course this can get worse. He's Ashley's cockney gambling buddy, whose only experience involves relegation (Charlton) and failing to get along with his colleagues (Southampton). He's taking charge of an average to poor squad that probably don't want him. The supporters don't want him. The chairman apparently wants to sell the best assets in the squad. This can, and almost certainly will, get much worse.
  14. Newcastle 1 Liverpool 1. Nolan to score a 90th minute equaliser off his arse and then unveil a 'f*** OFF PARDEW, BRING BACK HUGHTON' t-shirt.
  15. I always thought the people who accused Ashley of "destroying" the club were a bit hysterical, because it just seemed like he was just an idiot. But you can't fluke this kind of ineptitude. It is blatant.
  16. This is actually going to happen isn't it? This is actually going to happen. <- Should be renamed :pardew:
  17. If we appointed a good manager like Jol this would still be embarrassing and a truly disgraceful way to treat Chris Hughton. If Pardew is brought in then I really don't see the point.
  18. 4 European host nation places. I'm sure UEFA would love that.
  19. So you are saying this is a bad idea because it might result in a quadrennial carnival of football in a South America? When the alternative is a backroom deal to take football to Qatar? Just take the decision out of the hands of corrupt FIFA officials. Tell the English FA to stop spending money on a circus of a bid, and start spending that money on building a team that can earn a World Cup instead.
