Sorry to stop you on your second sentence, but this is a simple untruth. An advertising hoarding is not a business. Anything that gets headlines is good for Ashley. Unless it damages Sport Direct directly. You shouldn't have stopped him, Ashley will not want to have to put money into the club so does run it as a business and will not want to see our income drop by being relegated. The money that has gone out of the club directly and indirectly, and Ashley's estate's exponential growth since taking us over far outweighs by an order of magnitude any pennies a relegation might 'cost' him. But he can get more money by not being relegated, seriously what kind of logic is this s*** man? Do you not get that it's pennies for him?

It behind have been between him and dyer, and dyer in his pomp was going to be Gazza's replacement for England, he was great for us under SBR.
-
Definitely worth the caution for a first time offence on admission of ABH rather than asking him if he's sacking Pardew, or is that going to far?
-
Hope we get relegated, might help get Ashley out. Never thought I'd want that, but it's well beyond wanting Pardew out for me. I could stomach League 2 football if I knew we'd at least give it our all, from top to bottom as a club from the owner to players to progress.

I would be willing to wager a princely sum that this 8yr contract has quite a few clauses. One of which would be the severance pay if he was let go if Newcastle were placed either bottom or in the bottom three. Ashley doesn't give a s*** about us but wants this club in the PL and he's not a complete idiot.
-
I'm not sure he does. I think he thinks 'all is well'. Will make it all the sweeter when he gets the bullet. He'll never get sacked unless the threat of relegation is genuine.. every win puts it off

That is the most shocking stat ever! Nearly sent me to my grave, I chocked so hard on a chicken nugget I was eating. What's worse is that even with that record he's still managed to con the majority of the ST James crowd into thinking it's not his fault. I'd get chills down my spine for 90 minutes of hell for Pardew. Its never your fault + get out of our club on repeat versus Hull please. Sack of s***. Don't forget the 'Please take my £642 pounds Mike Ashley' in there.

I actually think it'd have to be closer to 1/2 £1bn tbh Point being that he'd sell in an instant if the money was offered. He, more than anyone else, knows the price of everything and the value of nothing. If someone was daft enough to offer him big money he'd accept immediately. His bullshit PR means nothing, it's more lies. Sorry yep I meant to put that I agree with your point, just differed on rough valuation.

I agree, as long as it's not of England. For what reason would you not want him to be England manager? I mean, most of the reasons we hate him is due to his constant tapping up of players Personally, at a strictly managerial level I think he's proven he is a decent coach that generally plays a style of plays that's easy on the eye. He also comes across as quite passionate about the game. I think he could be one of the few capable of bringing some fluidity out of the national team. Would love him as England coach.

Why clean the walls when you can use rain?

Would explain Dave's absence tbh. No but seriously, I think it's very well made? Maybe you're right, that it's not some professional journo, but that could be the decoy? Well what I meant is that I don't think it was made by a professional web developer - maybe a journalist or someone techy or someone who has a hobby in web development because it's clean-cut, but it's got some tell-tale minor usability flaws that made me doubt it. i.e. I don't think anyone has been paid to make this Whilst I agree with your deductions, I'm not seeing anything I'd define as a "usability flaw". Do tell? The main problem is that the cold, hard facts and damning quotes are buried on the 5th and 6th links of the site and then yet another page click away. You'd want this as quick and in your face as possible - lots of different ways to do this. It comes across as very self-promoting as a site, that many unhappy fans will happily sit and click through but I just don't see anyone with an alternate viewpoint having the patience or the inkling to be enticed to explore beyond the first page. It looks nice, but if whoever made it wants to drum up support, it's not what's required in my humble opinion.

With respect, it's not that great and it's not that professional, as a hobbyist web developer I could have knocked that together - I think it's likely more someone from this very forum. Not saying it's bad at all.. just that I know what I see

Not enough sack pardew sigs

I never clicked on this thread because I thought it might be about the intricacies of supporting the rainbow laces campaign, which, although I'm not against, is not something I'd choose to click through in my spare time.

I listened to that as well. The only problem is that their journalist who mentions it, Andy Brassel(sp)? hasn't got a clue about the financial situation and speaks lies as if they were truthes. eg. 'Holes in the accounts' - there were no holes, it was black and white. If you bought the club you had to buy the stadium. 'Mike Ashley has been good financially for Newcastle United' You can FUCK RIGHT OFF. If you don't know the subject, don't spread lies cuntface. Boiled my piss driving to work today.

How about him appearing in our All Time XI thread on multiple occasions
-
The more and more I reminisce on Beardlsey and look at some highlight reels, he really does seem 'better than Messi' at dribbling, whilst Messi leaves him for absolute dead for Pace. The way Beardsley can just walk through an entire defence without breaking a sweat.. brilliance. So naturally gifted, a la Le Tissier but for different reasons.

Just confirmation from the horse's mouth of what I and many, many others have been saying for years.

You'd have Lee ahead of Cabaye Ron?

Now commence the character assassination of Dave's gym pal who dared to have a balanced view Taking the comment for what it sounds like, is that it could be worse.. tend to agree depending on whether you prefer the club in League 1/2 without Ashley or in the Prem with.
