  1. They're discussing the table shared earlier in this page. Since Howe took charge, we have the 4th best recored in the league behind City, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
  2. He's been healthy and available this season?
  3. OK , I see what you are saying. But I don't really care if the title race between Man City and Liverpool or Arsenal is going down to the wire. And I don't really care about the relegation scrap that much. I would care about both of those things a lot more if my club was in the conversation. The battle for the Champions League and Europe has been great. And I'd think that the fans of those "mediocre teams" are still excited about this season as well. Liverpool has been the best team this season and they've consistently beaten those mediocre teams. For me, the figures who are driving this narrative about the league being poor are the Man United, Sours, Chelsea, Man City, and Arsenal fans / pundits who feel let down by their clubs' "poor performances". Fact is, they just got their asses handed to them by Forest, Bournemouth, Palace, or Wolves. Good. The closing of the gap between the midtable and the cartel makes this a great season. And seeing Man United and Spurs near the bottom of the table is far better than watching a title fight between Liverpool, Arse and City go down to the last week of the season.
  4. If there was ever game to get Willock some game time it's a relegated, 10-ten man Ipswich at home.
  5. Or... if they're really smart ... Nuno Espírito Santo!
  6. Youtube watch-along vids are gonna be mint tonight.
  7. Hoped we would rest JoeLinton and others so they are fresh for Villa. Subs at 60?
  8. I'd think the odds are pretty good that Spurs lose Thursday and Ange is cleaning out his desk Friday morning.
  9. The bit about the second half adjustment really boosted my mood. Thought OK Tindall and Jones have got this. (I am absolutely terrified we'll lose to Palace. Just the sort to midtable flotsam that been beating us all season).
  10. I would assume Botman. Might depend on who the club buys on the right? Have to think they're looking for someone to partner with Botman long term.
  11. Right, I get that. I'd prefer Man City and Chelsea finish out of the top 5. But from a strategic point of view (with PSR and all that means), we're better off with Villa missing out. I think..

    Joelinton

If so, it'll get back to the Seleção. Hope he gets kicked in the shins repeatedly for the rest of his career. They play what two times a year, every year?
  13. Wearing Tonali in black and white stripes around Turin would get noticed.
  14. Still maintain the Top 4 became the Top 6, so the media could continue to talk about Man United non-stop. "Lads, it's Man United"
  15. From a PSR stand point, who do want to miss the CL? I'm thinking it's Chelsea and Villa. Don't think missing out on CL will make any difference to City and I'm not convinced that Forset are a long-term threat. Would hurt Villa with their wages to earnings problems and make it difficult for Chelsea to claim "fair market value" on some outrageous shirt sponsorship.
  16. US broadcast still talking about Man Utd. Fuck off.
