The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
gazza ladra replied to Rich's topic in Football
I'd think the odds are pretty good that Spurs lose Thursday and Ange is cleaning out his desk Friday morning. -
The bit about the second half adjustment really boosted my mood. Thought OK Tindall and Jones have got this. (I am absolutely terrified we'll lose to Palace. Just the sort to midtable flotsam that been beating us all season).
-
I would assume Botman. Might depend on who the club buys on the right? Have to think they're looking for someone to partner with Botman long term.

Right, I get that. I'd prefer Man City and Chelsea finish out of the top 5. But from a strategic point of view (with PSR and all that means), we're better off with Villa missing out. I think.. -
If so, it'll get back to the Seleção. Hope he gets kicked in the shins repeatedly for the rest of his career. They play what two times a year, every year?

Wearing Tonali in black and white stripes around Turin would get noticed.

Still maintain the Top 4 became the Top 6, so the media could continue to talk about Man United non-stop. "Lads, it's Man United"

From a PSR stand point, who do want to miss the CL? I'm thinking it's Chelsea and Villa. Don't think missing out on CL will make any difference to City and I'm not convinced that Forset are a long-term threat. Would hurt Villa with their wages to earnings problems and make it difficult for Chelsea to claim "fair market value" on some outrageous shirt sponsorship. -
Cunha, though
-
US broadcast still talking about Man Utd. Fuck off.

US broadcast said 30-31, I think.

That's without Haaland for most of those games as well. Not happening. -
Yes. If that means they keep Ange on.

Hate Villa. Hope they beat Arsenal in the final. -

They've dropped two points to teams in the bottom half of the table. A draw at home with Wolves, that's it. They'll beat Everton and Spurs. Hope I'm wrong. -

Doubt we can catch Forest. They have a soft run in. More concerned about Villa than Chelsea or City. -
The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Will Still Southampton manager

Klopp and Arteta could point to the table. Ange is an utter charlatan. Deserves everything he gets. We had horrible problems with injuries last season. Howe never had us near 16th. -

Palace are on great form. Not a gimme. Absolutely hate them. -

That's not really the issue. The question is are we better off with Osula, Wilson (as he is now), or Gordon. -

Gordon? -
Mbeumo plays through the middle often enough. Decent all across the front.

Don't know reliable the source is, but I read he supposedly has a 50M release clause.
