Last quarter of the game was so reassuring. Tino and Gordon. Barnes was good. Willock and Tonali. Get a purple in this window and take a top four finish. -

Yeah, that's what I getting at. I know he played LW quite a bit. Just wary of being called an out-of-position nonce (or whatever the term was). I'd rather see Gordon or Barnes or Joelinton out of position than Miggy or Murphy every week.

Well... Has Joelinton ever played on the right? (sorry)
-
100% Why the hell not?

press for the win
-
We'd also have Joelinton in midfield.

Sure. By all accounts they have made some mistakes that lead to the summer PSR scramble. Had that not happened, I'd have 100% confidence in any decision.

How much is this down to overpaying for a player who had a good innternational tournament? He was good in a ultra defensive England that had the easiest path to a final imaginable. Maybe he was good at Crystal Palace. I don't watch Crystal Palace.

I don't think we're in a position where we can afford to spend 65m for a Geuhi or Botman. PSR is designed to ensure that. We're better off looking for deals at Lille or Real Sociedad. I might think differently had we not been forced to sell off home grown talent this summer. (and I'm not even a Minteh fanboy)
