Was it apparent that Howe didn't think much of him? I've heard that there was some tension over some players. Well, one. I think there was something about Ashworth wanting to sell JoeLinton. Was there anything else that I completely missed? I've wondered about Howe's reluctance to give Hall any minutes. As a neutral, I'd take England's squad over Portugal's. Backline is an issue, but in midfield and forward line England have world class players and depth in strength. Certainly better options than Portugal IMO.
