Was it apparent that Howe didn't think much of him? I've heard that there was some tension over some players. Well, one. I think there was something about Ashworth wanting to sell JoeLinton. Was there anything else that I completely missed? I've wondered about Howe's reluctance to give Hall any minutes. Yeah, he was shaky. but eveyone else was injured or tired, and Hall couldn't get a sniff. Long wondered if there were Ashworth transfers that Howe didn't really want.

Well, I don't what to believe then. Terrific player. I'd be genuinely surprised (delighted) if that's all he's on.

Raphinha's wages are insane. Don't believe it for a second.

Ok, so we should've offloaded Ben Parkinson. Got it. -

Really? You'd feel better about selling Gordon, Tino, Hall, or Miley? -

Well yes, if we buy upgrades on Longstaff, Almiron, and Wilson. Be delighted to give Tino all the minutes he can handle. -

Bright side. Maybe we'll finally see the backside of Berhalter. (Who am I kidding? US Soccer will just rehire Bob Bradley. Or pay off Canada so they can hire Jesse Marsch.)

FFS. The state of commentary in the US. Landon Donovan: Spain are much more direct than the team we saw in the 2000s and early 2010s, and that has made them a much better side. -

As a neutral, I'd take England's squad over Portugal's. Backline is an issue, but in midfield and forward line England have world class players and depth in strength. Certainly better options than Portugal IMO. -

So is Foden getting much criticism outside this thread? Is this the general consensus in England at the moment? Gordon and Bowen would cause Denmark all sorts if problems. I'm starting to appreciate Conor Gallagher. I don't feel too good about that. Hope Chelsea have to sell. -
