I wonder how much of that land would even be needed? Looks like if you built it over the top of the road it'd be enough - could probably still have the road running under the stand.

What is the legend Bally's management record for them?
-
That Gallowgate End Extension Facebook page made that and a few others a couple of years back. ?

Need a poll: Extended 60k SJP or New 75k Stadium
-
at 52,000 SJP will be sold out forever. 60,000 would be about right, i've not doubt we'd sell out 80k+ for the big games coming our way, but not every match.
-
The land above the Metro, who owns that currently? And what's the situation with it? Could our owners yet buy it back and extend the Gallowgate end? Also wondered just how far back they'd need to build? Guessing basically over the top of Strawberry Place rd? Seen the facebook group "Gallowgate End Expansion"? Some decent artists impressions on there.

Can't believe anyone feels any sympathy for them, only have to look at the way they went on (and are still going on about) our takeover. Money before morals and all that. Hope they sink into the Conference and we draw them in the FA Cup at St James and put 10 past them.
-
Be interesting to see how quickly the new owners mention stadium expansion (debatable if possible) or a move. They've been pretty quick with other things tbf and SJP is going to be sold out every game now.

Hartlepool, Carlisle and Harrogate in League 2 currently ?
-
Every match they play, I want them to lose. I would be delighted if they ended up being relegated out of the Football League.
-
3 more wins would do us now i think, so i'm a 2. Seen loads of people betting on us finishing top half - we'd need at least 7 or 8 wins out of 15 for that, so i think that's highly unlikely! 5 or 6 more wins wouldn't be impossible though.
-
Villa is exactly the type of fixture that does us every time, hopes up after a couple of good wins, everyone predicting another win and that we are going to be safe, then... I'd take a draw tomorrow, but would like to think we could win 2 of the 3 after that. As the teams below us look screwed in different ways, but also still have the chance of getting safe until we pull clear.
-
Couple weeks back they were going to win the next 6... The first 4 they've managed 1 point from. Other teams picking up form behind them, could well miss the play offs, or be in the play offs with better form teams. ?
-
Think we've still got to be realistic with where we are, so i'd be delighted with 5 points from those 4. 7 points would not be impossible though.

He is so far, until he proves otherwise.

You could also say Rotherham look like they are too far ahead of them to catch now, and Wigan have 4 in hand. Sheff Wed and Plymouth well and truly up their backsides now too, and really looking like them missing the play offs is a good possibility. If Wycombe, Sheff Wed and Plymouth win their games in hand, the mackems are down to 7th.

Cheltenham Town ??? Good chance they are gonna miss the play offs now
-
For the first time this season I'm going for less than a 7... That's the turning point for me, onwards and upwards for NUFC. What a difference. 2
-
Plenty of 'big' games remaining for them - Wigan (a), Rotherham (h), Oxford (a) & Plymouth (a). They were going to go on a 6 match winning streak a couple of games ago
-
Think the comments suggesting there's absolutely no chance we are going down are a bit far fetched. Hopefully we've done enough with signings, but ultimately we are still in the bottom 3 with our only goal scorer out injured for the foreseeable. Saw a few comments on facebook that the Watford-Burnley result didn't matter, as we'd be safe now anyway.
-
Sheff Wed and Plymouth creeping up on them, these could miss the play offs still
-
All the folks on Facebook reckoning he'd get 20+ this season, no chance when you know he's guaranteed to miss 10+ games. One of the best strikers we've had in recent times, but only getting into double figures in the PL twice in his career says enough.
-
You'd think someone with his money and on a decent earner with TV work wouldn't have the slightest interest in managing a 3rd tier side. Especially given he's failed there before and been bewwwed by their wonderful fans.
-
Shelvey has 1 good game every 9 or 10 games and everyone thinks he's good, then he is useless for 7 or 8 matches before his 1 good game and everyone thinks he's good (and repeat). If the keeper had stopped his freekick as he should have at Leeds, we'd be reading less about how class he is. Its a bang average midfielder, liable to be sent off.

Great result for Rotherham last night, and Wigan still ahead of them with games in hand. Pretty much looks like play-offs again for the unwashed, although 7th place aren't far behind them now, if they do have a slip up.
