  1. Pretty much everyone has been in agreement since Howe came in that 7 points was the minimum requirement out of Brentford, Norwich and Burnley matches. Now all of a sudden people are saying 4pts from the next 2 would be alright. Anything less than 6 and we can forget it IMO.
  2. Norwich 2 wins and a draw in their last 3, NUFC winless in all 14 matches this season (inc the home cup match against Burnley). Anything less than a win and its over. 1-1.
  3. Before the Liverpool loss, their last defeat was in August?. They are in the same home form as Man City and Chelsea. Wish we were that hit and miss.
  4. Arsenal have lost 1 of their last 10 matches (away to Liverpool) and won 5 of their last 6 home games in all competitions. 3-1 to Arsenal.
  5. I stand corrected on that. Some run that was from Derby - won 8 of their last 13 home games.
  6. 8. 0 wins from 12, speaks for itself. No team has even survived after not winning any of their first 12 (*edit Derby did in 00-01, won 8 of their last 13 home games) Worst defence in the league too. Only hope will be if we can beat both Burnley and Norwich at home and hope the other teams around us pick up next to nothing before the new year. Everyone thought we'd beat Brentford, who were winless in 4, and we didn't. The teams in safe spots so far are averaging a point a game, so nothing to suggest that will change. If that continues, we need another 32 points from our last 26 games - better start picking some up quickly. Bruce and Ashley really have left us in the shit.
  7. The only scraping of hope left, is that most people thought we needed minimum 7 pts from the home games against Brentford, Burnley and Norwich. We've got 1, so anything less than 2 wins in the next 2 home games, and i really don't see how anyone can keep claiming we'll be alright, thinks look bright etc. Facts don't lie, Norwich were wrote off weeks ago and are now above us. Brentford have been poor lately and we conceded 3 to them at home. We are awful, no matter how loud the crowd is, who the owners are, or the fact that Joelinton had his best ever match including missing a great chance to win it. We aren't good enough. 2 wins in the next 2 home games, and any other points before the New Year would be a massive, massive surprise. That will put us on 12 points after 20 games, question will be how many more points Watford, Leeds, Norwich and Burnley get in their next 8 matches.
  8. 1/3rd of the season gone, zero wins, worst defensive record in the league, just shipped 3 at home to the mighty Brentford in another must win match, 5pts off safety with a worse goal difference. Hard to see us stopping up, even the teams supposedly worse than us according to many, are picking up points. Take a miracle now. I really don't understand all the optimism after a 3-3 home draw with a newly promoted team.
  9. I wish i could say it was unbelievable. FFS.

Dont think many people will be watching the world cup tbf - fully expect everyone inc Linekar et al, so angered by our takeover, won't be interested in it.
  11. We could have finished 17th with a loss on the last day couldnt we? 13th masked over a lot of things.

and 40,000 will want tickets for wembo if they get there again
  13. Minimum of 7pts needed from the next 3 at home, need to get off to a good start with a win in this one. (Stating the obvious)
  14. 4 weeks ago most people would have jumped at the chance for Howe to replace Bruce. New owners or not, we are looking like we are heading for relegation, and no top manager wants to take it on. Howe is a good as we realistically could have hoped for, still remains to be seen if it'll be enough, but i dont think Fonseca or Emery would have came in and suddenly we'd have pissed survival with the current squad. Gives us a chance of survival.
  15. Always amazes me how any NUFC fan can have a bad word to say about Kevin Keegan.
  16. 6pts adrift with a bad GD, could easily be 9 by the New year. Didn't Rafa try and aim for a point a game? We are already way behind that, and for all I think 32 could be safe this season, it still means us getting 28 from 28. We somehow need to find 11pts in the next 10 games I think, to give us a chance. Right now we don't look like getting any points. Looks like the players don't care much for Jones neither.
  17. Another 46 points from 28 games?
  18. I dont see any of Fonseca, Favre or Nuno wanting to manage us, only reason they'd do it is for a shit load of cash. We are going down.
  19. Can't see any top manager taking us on, looking more and more like we'll have to go for someone like Big Sam
  20. Can't see any decent manager taking us on right now. Looking more and more likely we need someone like Fat Sam to keep us up, unfortunately.
  21. Apparently Joe also puts a shift in every match... PL Stats: Almiron 8 goals and 3 assists in 89 matches Joelinton 6 goals and 5 assists in 78 matches. Brilliant stuff.
  22. Most of our results so far are deserving of a relegated team
  23. Can't see us being on more than 10pts at xmas, and only 3 teams have ever been on as few at xmas and still survived. Sounds obvious, but really need the other teams around us to have an equally bad run, to give us any chance come the transfer window.
  24. Premiership: Gayle 26 in 139 Mitro 24 in 104 Joelinton 6 in 78
  25. Championship: Gayle: 59 in 100 Mistro: 57 in 96 Premiership: Gayle 26 in 139 Mitro 24 in 104 Both Championship players.
