Think you'll find that started yesterday on about 3 of our posts... when my boredom began mate. Look before that, and i cant remember having a pop at you. Not gonna get into an argument about it, i stated my opinion and stand by it.

Gotta say, find Kingdawson boring now. No offence mate, but spend more time on ya own forum. When your teams starts heading downhill again, i dare say we wont see much of you on here, much like WHL doesnt see much of you now.
  5. Anybody care to upload another pic of that alledged shirt? I wont be buying it, especially at £40. Just more money in Fred's pocket IMO.

i dont think theres much in it. They have been mid-table all season, we got 6pts off them... Theyve had a simple run in the UEFA, weve played some decent teams. Would say Spurs are slightly ahead of us, but not much.
  7. Bring Shearer back and put him at LB, he'll be better than f*ckin Baba, Carr, Hunty, Ramage, etc etc etc...
  8. no doubt Kingdawson will be there at the home leg.
  9. You'd think with it being unveiled officially on Monday-Friday, somebody would already have flowed a couple of alledged pics of the shirt around the net by now.
  10. Agree with that 100%, said it would happen for the past 8 months. If it doesnt, Fred is just waiting to release GR without an compensation, or the simple fact nobody wants the job. Step up Shearer?
  11. Thats what i thought before last night - even if we get through against Alkmaar we wont win the tourny. The victory would just have been a smoke screen. Read in the recent TF mag, how the champions league is so massive now and noone cares for the Uefa, well, with the 3 or 4 best teams from each country being in the CL, we still cant win the Uefa. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U all want to win the League Cup these days too, we are doomed.
  12. The run in will tell the true quality of our club. Weve been lucky on so many occasions this season, picking up results we didnt deserve. Now its the run in, the lads will just be looking forward to the summer. 12-15th place finish IMO.
  13. Yeah, we wont have to chose to miss Europe any more
  14. before the end of season weve got away games with (in no particular order) Charlton (18th) Sheff Utd (16th) Pompey (9th) Watford (20th) and Reading (7th) How many wins and points do you think we'll take from those 5 fixtures. Im gonna say we'll win one, and take a total of 4pts.

    Bramble

Bramble has so much potential, its only a matter of time before he fully realises it, and will be a defensive rock and legend at this club for years to come.
  16. If Given was replaced with a more commanding goalie, do people think the rabble infront of him would improve? Serious question..
  17. From Sportinglife.com Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder was left to reflect on two crucial decisions after his hopes of UEFA Cup glory were dashed by AZ Alkmaar in Holland on Thursday night. The Magpies went down 2-0 at the DSB Stadium as AZ cancelled out their first-leg deficit to draw 4-4 on aggregate and progress to the last eight on away goals. The outcome could have been different had AZ not been awarded a controversial penalty at St James' Park last week or Newcastle not been denied what would have been a tie-winning late goal. French referee Bertrand Layec disallowed a Scott Parker strike for a foul in the build-up after the skipper had drilled home a low shot. Roeder said: "You are relying on the referee to make a decision and he made a decision against us. "There were too many players in the box at that particular time to make an accurate assessment. "You have to trust the referee to make the right decision. But there is no doubt about it - their very, very dodgy penalty last week at St James' Park has cost us. "But there we are. We have now got to look forward and not look backwards." Newcastle arrived in Holland knowing Danny Koevermans' strike on Tyneside had rekindled AZ's hopes, and the home side needed just 14 minutes to reduce the deficit further when Shota Arveladze pounced from close range. Kieron Dyer fired across the face of goal on 54 minutes, and Koevermans took full advantage when he headed home what proved to be the clincher two minutes later. Obafemi Martins wasted another opportunity seven minutes from time, but had Parker snatched a quarter-final berth at the death, it would have been a huge injustice to the Dutchmen. Roeder said: "I am hugely disappointed. I cannot sit here and explain how disappointed I am personally when players I would have expected to perform well have performed poorly. "We trained here last night. We did not do too much, but what we did gave me a lot of confidence that the boys were in good shape to come our here tonight and play as a team." It was a particularly tough night for 19-year-old defender Paul Huntington, who was given a torrid time by winger Julian Jenner, although Roeder is confident he will learn from the experience. He said: "He is a strong lad, a mentally tough lad. He is just 19 years old and he is a central defender who had to play at left-back. "Although it was not a good experience for him and not a good experience for anyone tonight, he will learn a lot of things from the game. "In the bigger picture of his football career, it will not do him any harm." AZ coach Louis van Gaal was thrilled with his side's second successive away goals victory. He said: "The players have to believe. That is the biggest quality of a manager, to make the players believe in what he wants."
  18. Every player should be ashamed of themselves. How much do they get paid, they are supposed to be superstars on superstar wages, and they regularly put in performances like that. Loose on Sunday, and the rest of our away games. Nobody gives a fu*k.

    Two Fingered Salute

glad i dont spend a penny lining fat freds pockets. he takes all geordies for fools. we wont win anything, we arent good enough, nothing ever improves. pathetic.
  20. We are Newcastle. We give away games. We are simply not good enough. 4-1 up in the 1st leg, should be over. Go away to a team with a suspect defence, never put anything decent together. One chance we get, Dyer/Martins should score. Simply not good enough. No team will ever win a cup with Taylor, Bramble and Huntington in the back 4, and a past it duff on the wing, and a carthorse up front. If we'd have won, it would simply have been a smokescreen. We would not have won this competition. Defence, and result, was as expected. Glad i dont line Fat Freds pockets with my money.
  21. Well im not gonna jump on his back. But ive been of the opinion all season that he's not good enough, and wont be good enough. Most peeps love him cos "he's a geordie" etc...(although i know he was born in the smoke)

And you were there too see it! You'll be able to tell your grandkids..... ....that you were sat on the NUFC forum all night while it happened.
  23. Part of me is thinking, this game is massive, i cant wait for it to start, im nervous, can we do it, are the boys up for it? Come on, lets win this Uefa Cup... Then part of me thinks, we'll either screw it up, Lisbon style, or if we win, we'll go out later on anyway. We are NUFC, and NUFC dont win trophies. Can Bramble et al hold firm for 90mins? Im still up for it, just got this feeling, we arent gonna win the Uefa anyway, we seem to be destined to win nowt.
