Agree with this... the scum seem to have a set of players and a culture that is desperate to win games. Add to that a few decent signings, and our continued mediocracy and ability to not give a shit, and they might be looking at the first scum derby victory for a few years. That shirt is MINT. Wish it was gonna be this one, mainly black - shoulders n broad stripes. If it was this one, id say thats our best strip alongside the Beardo/Ferdy/Ginola Grandad collar shirt. But i guess its gonna be the mainly white one, which is still decent.

Just seems our home shirts are always predominantly white. So if it was gonna be similar to AC, then the shoulders would be white, rather than black.

shouldnt be there at all, never mind a back up. If we seriously want to be at the top, we need 2 new strikers to go with Owen and Martins. These 2 strikers need to be good enough to step in and score goals. Another discussion, but im still not convinced of Martins, and think we'll learn a lot more about him next season. Sibierski is a carthorse, and if we give him a new contract (and bramble) it shows where our club is heading, and what its ambitions are.

Has he been given a new contract? I think i remember he has, in which case we wont be signing any strikers in the summer. Owen, Martins, Ameobi, Sibierski.

Anybody who seriously thought we had a chance of a top 6 finish, before (never mind after) this match, wants their head looking at. Theoretically we should be able to push, but we are NUFC, have a useless manager, and a set of players who generally wouldnt get a game in any of the Top 5 sides, and continue to under-peform in the majority of matches/seasons theyve had at NUFC.
