I found Newcastle, Australia to be a fairly horrible place.
Went to watch Essendon v Hawthorn when I was in Melbourne (last game of last season), pretty good, 80,000+ in the MCG. T'riffic place to watch sport.
Would make sense, knows the players (although he sold most of them) and has the horrible local accent.
Can't see O'Neill stooping that low, will walk into any Premierleague job as soon as one becomes avail
Need to go up before the parachute payments end otherwise they're going to be right in the shit. Can see them turning it round eventually and due to the Championship being ridiculously tight its way to early to write them off unfortunately.
16-17 years ago this would have been one of the biggest matches around, haven't even taken any attention of this game tonight.
Robinho has just missed an absolute sitter. Sat the keeper down and then rolled it miles wide.
Most Championship teams brought a big following. Can't easily get tickets for the L7 corner. We're not nailed on to win all the time. No £20 tickets anymore, have they also done away student tickets?
Loads of reasons.
My mistake although perhaps on looking at it he was too far forward in the first place. Anyway whats done is done, the important thing will be ensuring it doesn't happen again.
He'd already lost Huth though which forced him into having to make a rash decision - it should never have happened. Especially as it came direct from the set piece.
I read some of their forums after the Everton-Newcastle match and that wasn't the impression I got tbh.
Forums are probably the worst place to gauge fan opinion though.
