Would like Germany for the team/football or Holland for the history. Definitely not Spain and it won't be Uruguay anyway. Don't mean to rattle on about Uruguay but they've got a great chance. Netherlands are favourites, yes, but if Uruguay can produce another 'solid' performance, Forlan is liable to produce something. Will be interesting to see how they do without Suarez, though. Pretty much halves their threat. Uruguay have bigger problems in defence. Lugano and Godin struggling to be fit and Fucile is suspended, thats 3 of their first choice back 4 (when they play that system).

Ha,I just meant I expected to read about some team going bust or whatnot. FWIW Arg & Brazil are underachieving due to bad management and the rest are overachieving. Not once have I said south American teams are the be all and end all, I just happen to like Uruguay and to have been to Sth America. Yes I thought Brazil would win but I'm certainly not the only one.

i wouldn't, i hate and loath cheating, winning isn't worth that much. So you'd rather not win something than this situation* occur? *Not talking about other cheating, just this kind of event.
