  1. Was good craic that last time. Good atmosphere. First and last time I went in with the home lot. Fucking Cumbrians. Arn't Cumbrians just Exiled Geordies? Cumbrians are fucking morons from more or less every single experience I've had to do with them. The Carlisle/Cumbrian accent is horrific as well. Boro-esque.
  2. That's probably the case. However I'd say for example Africans, Asians and Australians would also favour country over club while Europeans and possibly South Americans would go with clubs. The reason you mentioned would explain this to be honest. If I was forced to give an answer to this question, I'd probably end up saying Newcastle because it's what I invest the most money, time and passion into. However what I don't understand is when people are proud to say club over country, where they're happy to disregard their nationality because of local pride. This seems to be quite a common trend, and I think it's sad. Definitely wouldn't. I'm a massive part-time England fan like. Only make effort to watch decent qualifiers and tournament games, still want them to do well though but don't give a shit if they don't.
  3. Wilson has looked shit playing CB in the games I've seen but played well in the holding role at Wembley on Sun.
  4. Which ones? That joker at Burnley, granted. Almunia, Sorenson, Howard, Gomez & Green are high profile keepers who I wouldn't swap with. Most keepers have their weaknesses. Harper doesn't make that many howlers, is a good shot stopper, his kicking could be better and his main weakness is dealing with crosses. You'll not agree with some mentioned and others have been left out as I haven't seen enough of them (Hull, Wolves...). The point is that we'd be replacing Harper with Krul or would need to spend 5M or so which would be better spent elsewhere. I disagree with all 5 of the keepers you've said there. I'd swap. But I'm astounded that you included Tim Howard in that list. Absolutely flabbergasted. Aside from maybe Sorenson although he has really upped his game since he went to Stoke I'd agree.
  5. Yup. They all have the trademark long Spanish lass face though.
  6. So how his ticket been sold if they don't sell disabled tickets online?
  7. Which ones? That joker at Burnley, granted. Would say Harper is on a par with some of the keepers in the Prem but only better than Jensen, Myhill & Hanhemann
  8. Fucking sponsors on an international kit man. Only Ireland do that don't they? Garbage.
  9. Because he is a twat. Nice top like that, very Rangers-ish of whom Chelsea have a strong tie, possibly because they're both a bunch of cunts.
  10. To be fair they have absolutely nothing to play for and are likely to lose both games, possibly quite heavily.
  11. Yeah, was wondering if "Sold Out" means 52,300, or "Sold Out" as in 49k with empty seats in the away end and corporates. Milburn Corporates (excluding boxes) were all sold out when i checked the ticket site last night. Not sure how many Ipswich are bringing but they usually have a decent away following.
  12. Simpson needs to have a good game tonight. Up against Sigurdsson who i have been very impressed with everytime I've seen him. Reckon he'd be a decent acquisition in the summer for us.

  14. Dunno where Everton play him but he's always struck me as more of a 10 than an 11 when playing for Russia.
  15. Heh didn't look on the previous page, still looks like numerous blocks have sold out even since then. There's far less available now for the ipswich game (12 days before the match) then there were only hours before our highest attended games earlier in the season. Only about 100 or so tickets left i reckon. Just ordered mine tonight, first match since Fulham last season.
  16. Whats with the shitty magpie everyone is hoying on the kit? Fuck that shit.
  17. Wore a cravatte against Oxford in the conference playoffs a coupla seasons ago.
  18. It's in all the Belgian media by the looks of it. Apparently Spurs, Villa & Bayern were interested in signing him the same summer we bought him while Chelsea & Madrid had been scouting him as one for the future. Chelsea's chief scout (some Dutch guy) was quoted talking about him a few months ago. I'd be gutted if he was sold so quickly. His performances this season were absolutely immense until the injury. With Heitinga having done such a good job at DM though (correct me if I'm wrong) if someone was to come in with megabucks surely it would be a good move to sell and bring in another striker and a top class RB. Heitinga does a good job of breaking up play but will never be able to dominate a midfield and dictate the game like Fellaini was starting to on a regular basis. I'd rather sell Rodwell tbh (if we must sell anyone, don't think we do). Ah shit forgot about Rodwell, knew there was another DM you had. Midfield, you lads certainly seem strong could probably do with another wide man as well as a RB and another front man in my eyes. Those three players and a decent run with injuries i reckon Everton could be challenging for the Champs Lge next season (depending on who the others buy)

  20. Surely they should spread it right through the football league?
  21. I went to about 4 home games at the Lane last season, and went to 2 this season. I simply can't afford it. I love Spurs but i've got to prioritise on other things for now. Just out of interest, what are the prices like for home fans. I've always wanted to go to WHL, but I've found prices are akin to Chelsea's and nearer to the £50 mark, which I think it's daft considering you're not a 'big 4' team. I paid between £43 -£65 the numerous times i've gone (2 occasions this season i was given a ticket). Ridiculous prices really. I'm all for clubs saving a small section of the ground that should be kept cheap (ish) and made available match by match in the same way Dortmund and other German clubs do.
