  1. Good open game. I'd maybe swap Jonas and Routledge over for beginning of the 2nd.
  2. http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17281&page=6 Quite a mobile attack. Tyson is probably the weakest IMO though so good job he'll be up against Simpson.
  3. Can't be that bad if he plays for Peru still. Canny old flight from Germany to Lima. Last time he was in Peru he made the flight to Peru but was too feared to make it back to Hamburg. Was stuck in Peru for several weeks. sounds very convenient.
  4. Pow! full strength first team, just what i wanted to see.

  6. That was by far and away the greatest thing I've ever seen at St James. I spent half the match giggling about it. Brilliant. It was superb, yeah. Aye! Also what was the game where the away team had literally one fan. Just one bloke stood in the away section with a big flag? Was class that! Levadia Tallinn or Venspils it was.

    Sunderland...

Eh? Boring is perhaps an exaggeration, but nothing beats the build up and tension of a derby game. This season hasn't been boring as we've been challenging for the league pretty much all season, but when you're in the Premiership and just scrapping round in the bottom half of the table it's a welcome distraction. Definitely preferred the seasons when Man Utd was our "big" game. Aahh they were the days..... Derbies just cause too much hassle nowadays and it always seems we have more to lose than them as we're expected to win. Next season they'll be favourites.
  8. I was talking more specifically about actual Gateshead town rather than the whole borough like.
  9. Did he? Tbf that is good a thing as most people from G-Head usually pop along to court in the best tracksuit which is usally the Lacoste one. Have you ever been to Gateshead? I don't own a tracksuit and haven't bought anything lacoste for about 12 years. Lots of posters on here will also live in Gateshead or come from Gateshead and won't like the sterotype/dissing of their town. Gateshead is fucking horrible for the most part though. No it isn't, parts of Newcastle, Sunderland, North and South Tyneside are far far worse. I've lived in Gateshead for 42 years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Fair enough you're proud of where you live & there may well be worse places but Low Fell, the Park and the Quayside aside it ain't the best. For a town of its size it certainly punches below its weight.

  11. Overpaid, injury prone, ageing player? Not a chance. He'd improve us though but can't see it happening in a million years.
  12. Roma has been decent this year, had some very lucky results though. Ranieri has really done the works, Juventus really did them self a favor there Think it will end up in a draw though with the possibility of Inter winning the game bigger then Roma. Eto'o and Milito will get one each, De Rossi for Roma. 2-1 Inter FT For all the stick he seems to get everywhere he has been, Ranieri always goes to his business pretty decently I think. Agreed, could argue he sorted the back bone of Chelsea (still) minus Drogba.

    La Liga 09/10

Its sad that all new stadiums follow this standard pattern, yes they may be more comfortable but there is nothing like a ground where the stands are right on top of the players. I guess its better than making into a bowl.

Aye, a shame that they are moving instead of renovating it, that place is one of the oldest pitches in Spain. So much history and tradition. It's not called "The Cathedral of Football" for nowt. Not quite in the same league but always reminds me of WHL, double tiered stands right on top of the pitch. What a football ground should be.
  15. For the leagues sake it needs Roma to win this weekend. Especially with Totti back for the run in.

Van Bommel is good but he is a horrifically dirty bastard. A bit like Paul Scholes with his tackling. Really want to get to Spain one day to see a game. Preferably to the San Mames before Athletic move.
