Fuck sake, could do with Chelsea winning here. Need top 5 to take as many points as possible against every other team in the league
-
Off this season form or previous years? Remember we thought Cacapa was the Lyon captain when we signed him, when the reality was he was out the picture & played about 5 games in his last season at Lyon. Any of you Champion League boffs or Romania League experts know who has been getting the goals for CFR Cluj The brilliantly named Juan Culio's been a name I've heard quite a bit on the highlights. Don't know if it's because he's any good, or if it's because his name makes me giggle like a girl. Aye he's the one i meant,.

Chelsea but the whole team want to leave. The bloke who scored the brace v. Roma looks canny but he isn't a striker.

Decent strikers about Europe who we may be able to snag: Fernando Cavenaghi (Bordeaux) Diego Milito (Genoa) Bafetimbi Gomis (St. Etienne) Eren Derdiyok (Basel) Djibril Cisse, Mamadou Niang, Bakari Kone (Marseille) Patrik Helmes (Leverkusen) Mladen Petric (HSV) Pavel Pogrebnyak (Zenit) Vedad Ibsevic (Hoffenheim) Closer to home: Ashton (West Ham) Heskey (Wigan) Ebanks-Blake (Wolves) Elmander (Bolton) Campbell (Man United)

How short are your arms, like? Was going to say something in really bad taste, but decided against it in the end. Haha, had the long sleeve version like.

So long as he stays to the end of the season I couldn't give a fuck.

See who goes down and act accordingly.

Radio Aire reporting Boothroyd is getting the Leeds job like.

Done a good job at Blackpool Bookies are closing the betting on him. Ladbrokes or Hills, I've forgotten which one. Dunno where B'pool are in the league currently but could be a cheeky punt backing them to go down if they're a little way out of danger.

Aye i bought one of my tops from the airport. Some shitty little stand they had. I loved that keeper top n all although it was nowt compared to the Tyne Bridge one.

The Newcastle United Transfer Thread: D-Day [Spoiler: Not Much Happens]
Disco replied to LooneyToonArmy's topic in Football
Anyone who can translate these articles? Not seen much about him, but a friend of mine who watches alot more of the french league says he's a future star. And FM people also "wonderkid" The top one says we went to watch him on Thursday in the Uefa cup and that we've already got Bassong in defence and hope to have the same success with Sakho, says we are willing to pay 8 million euros. The second one says we've already passed on an initial oofer of 8 million euros to PSG. Cheers. I hope that we go after young players. If we pick the right ones they will add quality for now and the future and could be a good investment. Instead of going for past it players like Luque who was on his way down men we splashed £10m on him and went for close to nothing (to name one of many bad signings for us) Retrospect is a great thing isnt it? -
Doesn't mean much but he is Garth Crooks team of the week.

Back end of the 96-97 season. of course, the run that started with the 1-0 win at Highbury thanks to a Robbie Elliott header Did he f***, Lennon raced away from him time and time again, it was the excellent cover from N'Zogbia, Bassong and Jonas who kept Lennon in check. Twice he went past Enrique into the penalty box and sending in good crosses. Lennon impressed me today, excellent running and good decision making, although lazy in his tracking back. In Enrique's defence I think the none yellow card he received early on didn't help his game vs Lennon's. Quote from a Spurs fan: 'I dont understand why he didnt switch lennon in that match. The left back had him in his pocket the whole game, why keep him there?' I agree with him, I saw Lennon get past him once. I counted 4 times, twice he went into the box and fizzed in dangerous crosses, once he won a free-kick after another of our players bumped him off the ball and another time when Lennon cut back on himself allowing Enrique to get back into position. Don't get me wrong he never tore him a new arse hole but he gave him a tough time of it and Enrique didn't have him in any pocket from where I sat. I will say this, in the latter stages of the second half Enrique was more solid and Lennon become less of a threat. I can't remember if he was switched by then or not but I did notice an improvement from Enrique before going off. I don't get all this he was superb, one of his best games etc. though. Agreed. Was only Lennons poor final ball that let him down. Enrique struggled at times but so will most full backs as Lennon is fast as fuck. Thought Enrique did very well in not getting himself sent off though.

All that money but they still play Vassell

Adebayors was the same as Arcas yday apart from Arca made contact with the player. Neither were tackles particularly just shielding the ball that looked worse than it was due to the high foot.

What? Really? I haven't seen it yet, I hope I do though. That would mean Gerrard not getting a decision though, very strange indeed. Did the old knock it past the defender out of play, Gallas i think it was, try run over the top of said defender and whilst going down start to twist and look towards the ref. Then smack ground in astonishment when he gets no decision.
-
subbed off cos of injury wasn't it ? Unless he was just having a kip on the floor before he went off i think so.
-
Good to see the BBC not showing Gerrards comical attempt to win a pen in the second half.
-
I thought we were poor today, more so than them. Lucky to get all three but who cares?

Fucking get in is all I can say
