why? I know he played for Man U but apart from he comes across quite well to me. Speaks his mind, stays on his feet more often than not He's a fucking bellend. At Man United he certainly didn't. He, like a lot of Dutch players is sly little cunt. Brilliant player but odious wanker. See Bergkamp & Robben for a similar example.

3 poor kits now instead of 2. Hoorah!

I can't wait for the Stoke v Bolton game.

He Christophe's less skillful brother?

Why are people suggesting Nugent? Did last season not exist or something, he was woefully gash. Pompey signed Baros to stop him from playing - says it all.

Putting money on him to score past us next season like.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7546968.stm Ref Clattenburg hit by suspension Clattenburg is one of Britain's elite refs Referee Mark Clattenburg has been suspended pending enquiries into reports regarding his alleged debts. The Football Association and referees' body Professional Game Match Officials Ltd acted after allegations relating to debts of companies connected to him. Clattenburg was set to take charge of the FA Community Shield clash between Manchester United and Portsmouth. But the County Durham official has been replaced for Sunday's curtain-raiser to the new season by Peter Walton. A joint statement from the FA and PGMO read: "PGMO is aware of media reports concerning alleged debts incurred by companies connected to referee Mark Clattenburg. "It has been decided he will not officiate any matches pending enquiries into the background to these reports. "The FA has also decided to appoint Peter Walton as referee for Sunday's FA Community Shield between Manchester United and Portsmouth in place of Mark Clattenburg." A PGMO spokesman added: "It is in the best interests of Mark Clattenburg and the game that these reports are fully investigated and, during that time, he will not referee any matches. "Mark Clattenburg is one of England's leading referees and we hope to resolve this matter swiftly." Earlier this week, the Newcastle Chronicle reported that Clattenburg's company MC Electrical Retail NE Ltd has been wound up by Newcastle County Court over a £59,589 debt.

One of my favourite players when growing up. Same, always the player I wanted us too sign. Brilliant player.
-
Decent signings for Villa if they pull them both off. Shorey and A.Young from set-pieces could mean even more goals for Laursen next season.
-
Probably already mentioned but someone from the 'Profitable Group' at the match according to SSN.
-
Normal black guy in posh seats shocker!

again, bolton are going to struggle badly next season, a team full of championship or overrated players They've bought fairly well in Elmander (if he works out) and Muamba. Shittu's steady. 0 players with any creativity in the team though. They're going to be dire to watch. We'll need to score early doors when we play them I reckon otherwise it'll turn out like that season.

SSN's ticking bar reporting it was actually a corned beef pasty

Zuberbuhler's own goal against England in Euro 2004 was class. Did it hit the post and come back off his head and go in? Also (and I'm pretty sure I must be remembering this wrongly) wasn't he about 36 in Euro 2004? That's the one. Think he's 38 now. I'm sure Jorg Stiel was in goal for Switzerland in Euro 2004. Zuberbuhler is gash like. Was awful for WBA and makes Paul Robinson look like a Chinese gymnast. Bought 3 keepers this summer n all. Unusual move when Niemi isn't that bad.

Fully agree. We could do a lot worse than Benayoun. Creative, prem experienced, can play across the park, works hard, gets the odd goal. Doesn't want to move though it appears Yossi: "Liverpool is good for me and it was always clear I want to stay and Liverpool wants me,"
-
Gazza, Adams, McGrath - all a good read.
-
Bentley as he is Premiership proven and can deliver a set-piece and we need someone for the now more than the future IMO.
-
Aye fully agree, my dad had a go at Bellamy a while back when he played for us calling him shite and that Bellamy shouted some jokey-abuse back at him. All banter. Too many puffs at football these days who are looking for an excuse to make something out of nothing.
-
Rangers in play for draw shocker. Serves the boring bastards right. Would love Cuellar in but now we have Collo i can't see it.
-
Wish people would fuck off with that song bollocks, some of us are trying to skive quietly at work.
-
Chopra off to Hull according to the mackem boards.
-
Brilliant news if true, hope the cunt has broken his leg.
-
Reckon he'd do alright at Everton. Suited to their harrying/in your face style. Moyes usually gets the best out of players like him n all.
-
Bellamy crocked and in bother once more n all.
