He doesn't have the all-round game of a Rooney or Drogba, though. He's still young. Creates a lot space though, as he attracts so much attention from defenders.

would love to make it to the Boca Junior`s stadium La Bombanera someday. Must have been quite an atmosphere when you went? the fans look fanatical judging by what I`ve seen on TV here and there. Considering it was a pretty much nothing game i went to (home to Gimnasia LP), the atmosphere was unreal, just constant noise pre/during/post match. Was only about 5er in n all.

Whether it's true or not, it will always look like Gibson blew it when he sacked Southgate. I suspect the decision to spunk millions on Alves was never forgiven, and in the whole process the bigger picture was bypassed and Boro ended up with a shitter manager. Wouldn't be suprised to see them challenge next season if they keep a same-ish squad.

Weren't we same odds to win the league as to go down pre-season? I'd never had said we'd be in the position we are in now, WBA yes but not us, would've been happy with playoffs.

I would say the Goose, but you used the word decent, so don't bother. Was thinking Fluid but i've not been before and I never really watch many matches in town aside from at the ground.

Anyone recommend anywhere decent in/around Newcastle city centre to watch the match? Preferably somewhere that does a bit of bait.

I think Jose is fairly exciting (especially when he doesn't just randomly boot the ball out of play) and he is consistantly quality. Even his defending is exciting, even more so at this level when it is a joy to watch him owning his winger over and over again. I enjoy watching Jose play, thought he was one of stars last season nevermind this but there is nothing like the edge of the seat excitement when someone is running full tilt at defenders skinning them.
