From what I've seen from the Euro's i think he'd be a good buy. He's big, strong, quick but no Oba, decent touch. He's also, unless injury prevents him, only going to better the more he plays for both club and country and for £6m we could do a lot worse and he is very likely to want to move here too and not just for the money for a change. Some people on here want to take their head out their arse and see that this is the type of player we need not the so called big name/big wage/big transfer fee players that have failed us so spectacularly in the past (I'd name players names but I'd be here all day). We need young, improving players that have hunger and desire to want to play and prove themselves in the shirt and ones that can only get better.

FYP Geremi and Butt ruin that. and the fact that it is a team of midgets (faye and coloccini aside) no heading ability whatsoever. Owen proves you dont have to be tall to be good in the air. Alot of the time its about timing. Fair enough going forward but defending is completely different.

Was just in Germany at a music festival like and a few of the bands just did the riff and let the crowd go for it, was mental. Here's a tip for you young rookie. Never rely on flashy gear to get you attention. It'll only attract the wrong sort anyway. Do your thing by all means and look fresh and fly out there but never go over the top. Makes you look desperate, like your trying too hard. Thats the thing about Arshavin he is very adaptable and can play in a number of roles either as a wide man a playmaker in midfield or just behind the front man. Like I said in my opening post, they're two of the main reasons I wanted to start the coach. I also hoped that with everyone saving money on travel costs, it would mean more people can make it to more games than they'd probably usually attend. I really hope it can take off. Up to now, I cannot see a problem. The time when we'll really see if it's going to work is when it comes to gathering enough numbers for each game which is my only worry at the minute.
