can't see him moving to us, said he wants to stay at Pompey and Pompey have got Europe next season. Good player though.
-
Pompey to go after SWP then?

Didn't think it was possible for me to hate Chimbonda any more than I already do, then he goes and signs for Sunderland he's left the scum to sign for the scum......fantastic! i'm so glad we've steered well clear of rubbish like Chimbonda I actually think that those four players if the all go to sign for Sunderland will prove to be a good buy. Keane seems to be able to get the best out of players and buying players aint that easy right now as we are finding out. Wasnt long ago Chimbonda was rated by lots of clubs. The rest of them will probably help take Sunderland from relegation favourites into a team who finishes around 12 - 14. You have to start somewhere and it is not like Sunderland can go out there and buy the top names, they have to take a few gambles. fully agree Johan, a lot better than the shite he bought last yr.

In my opinion we'll struggle to find a better player this summer than Malbranque. I really rate him. fully agree, very good player and will be a major coup if the mackems get him
-
"Steed" would be a decent acquisition, can unlock a door, good passer, Prem experience, gets a few goals, can play a few positions.
-
Looked decent at the Euro's

Can't see past the three promoted teams. West Brom's defence is too weak, conceded a boatload last season to lower quality opposition. Hull currently have no strikers of note and Stoke lack quality all over the pitch. Can see Blackburn been down there with the lower midtable teams as will we be again unless we strengthen our team/squad before the window shuts.
-
Read somewhere Ince wants him at Blackburn.

Does anyone care? The Olympics should be trimmed of football, tennis and the other sports where it is minor event compared to the world championships or equivilant, unlike say swimming and running where its the primary event.
-
fully agree, the open rant/interview he gave towards the end of his time at City was very informed and had a lot of sense behind it, however he, like many others (not meaning its right) can't handle his drink and a bit of provocation.

Fair to play the Spurs board and I hope something will come of it although I doubt anything serious will unfortunately as with a lot of shit in the game it has now become the norm for this to happen and for there to be no repuccusions. ...and Spurs are no angels in this respect.
-
Are you talking about Carroll or Krul? Carroll sorry. pretty much fits in of what I've heard about n all from the sis of a former u19 in same team as him.
-
Not sure about his attitude, didn't exactly thrive at PNE when he had the chance to get some decent first team football under his belt.
-
Wonder if that lass had got it styled like Bobby Charlton just like that bloke infront
-
Not arsed if we sell Carroll like, only been given the time of day as he is a local lad.
-
Maybe they'll give Bent a run. Got a lot to prove still 'daaaan the lane' and a proven Prem goalscorer or they're going to play 4-5-1/4-3-3 since they do have 175 midfielders currently.
-
Hull have bought well you're right, but they're still going to do fuck all unless they buy at least 2 Premiership quality strikers, good luck to em though.
-
Linked with Carlos Villaneuva on some gash link via newsnow. Can't say I know anything about him.
-
Didn't know he was still playing, used to be good back in the day, remember him scoring a screamer for Fulham i think it was.
-
The town centre already lookslike it has unless its changed dramatically since the last time I was there

But his representative Rudy Raba has told us that playing at The Stadium of Light would slow down his international career, and that other clubs have made more interesting offers to the Frenchman. “Younes wouldn’t join Sunderland even if there was an earthquake,” Raba told setantasports.com. “We have more interesting options than Sunderland. Don’t even think about it. “I can tell you for sure that he’s going to stay in England next season. “At Portsmouth you are more watched and for example you have France international Lassana Diarra playing there. “Of course he would prefer to have his chance at Tottenham rather than moving to Sunderland. “No disrespect to them, but playing there wouldn’t help his international career."

oh, it is.. Enrique's been a major disappointment he's hapless I'm "furious" and blame Dennis Wise for undermining his performances.

Loan him out to Feyenoord and put the stipulation that he has to play a certain amount of games otherwise they have to cough up money or give him back, similar to what Man U did with Pique to Zaragoza a couple of season ago. Also, Lee Ryder, should know we played Heerenveen in the Waffa not the CL.
